I ended up drawing an outline/stencil of the spring and marking the top end of the springs because my eye gauge couldn’t tell them apart. One I think is about 10mm longer. Springs 2years new, only done 50km one em. Both towers have their own spring perch and Haynes manual has them at top of tower (which I’ve done). Hopefully this has it covered. I’m reassembling again now so let’s see.

Put the longer one on the drives side

  2. @30DegreesRetarded did you buy the springs new? They often need 500kms or so to settle .

also the longer one will go on the driver's side . Because most cars get driven with only a driver so the perch the drivers side a wee bit higher to stop it sagging immediately

trim thr bumpstops if there is enough travel in the shock only. Otherwise your shock will become the bumpstop and that's not good lol.

who are our resident frog enthusiasts?

gf's 2007 peugot 307 hdi is giving us dpf additive low warning on dash. my first question, is there a dpf reservoir under the car somewhere we need to top up, or can we biff in an in-tank additive to make the environment okay again? and secondly, what kind of additive do we need? google saying eolys, but cant seem to find any nz suppliers of this shit?

google is not definitive with answers, and shes tried a few garages and both have said cant help ya sorry gotta go to peugot dealer. would appreciate any help as modern euro diesel is making my head spin.

They have a pouch somewhere cant remeber where full of shit that's real bad for you if you spill it .

Will probably need to go back to peugot for them to replace it and reset the counter that tells you it's time to replace .

It's essentially like adblue but worse

yea cheers for the heads up.

i may put a new radiator in it. i have no idea what state the current one is in, ill know more when i change the condenser.

it "looks" like the water pump is fairly recent but again, for what its worth ill probably just put a new on on it.

Any history of a head being done?

When the diesel pump starts to leak its a o ring in the top housing of the pump that's a mega cunt to change without putting plastic through the pump and wreking it

  5. We use Jon palmer from temuka.

He comes up once a month and spends a day up here.

Great for older/classic cars. He'd probably love what your doing
