I found this interview with Richard Hammond quite interesting, especially his take on the future of cars and ICE:
(Apologies, I couldnt just clip it to the bit I needed....so it might ramble on a bit afterwards)

DX100 is now running......injury rehab means I wont be able to do the moped melee this year so I'm thinking of putting this up for sale soon. Still a few things need doing on it first so will decide how complete/going it needs to be before putting it on the market.

I use Nic and Christchurch automotive services. He lives just around the corner from me. Works from a workshop in his back yard. Super nice bloke, and dies good honest work at a fair price. Hes who I pay to do all the cunty jobs I cbf with. (Most jobs on modern cars, bar oil changes and brake pads basically)
+1 for Nic.....took on a cunty job on the old Teutonic Hatch without flinching.

A few mentions of Aprillas makes me wonder....
How many RS50's from the early 2000's are still around? I'm looking at a project that uses a few bits of one and I'm wondering how easy it is to find them....

As a beginner, I'm picking my arse and bike may not be up to doing the whole thing.....So I'm thinking I'll stop of at Cromwell on the way down and stay with my cousin (married the Publicans Daughter at Bannbockburn), then catch up again in Ranfurly for the ride home. On the day off I'll go walk the Poolburn Gorge section of the rail train (in from Lauder) if I can feel my legs.

Could a YB100 be a suitable candidate for such an adventure?

Whoops, my humblest apologies for being slow on the uptake. Just worked out this evening that the exhaust work on the A100 is courtesy of @gazguy...so credit where credit is due! Thanks so much!
