Well we are no longer ev owners and back into a petrol suv. The wife was pissed off about how they kinda knew it had a problem before we got it and never said a thing. Carnt go into it much but we swapped it for something else on their yard. Bit of a shame as it was a nice car to drive and was starting to like it

Super cheap does take them but you have to take it into the counter. They said they had to get rid of the bins as people were putting in antifreeze or just pouring the oil into them, same old story fuckwits

Sweet cheers and what’s the best way to charge them? Keep topping them up or run them low then fully charge? Our situation is We just got a i pace and the wife will be doing about 100 ks a day open road driving

What’s the go with charging a ev if you have a place that’s off grid? I know it depends how much power you can make and how you can store it but would you need a massive bank of battery’s?

If your car also has painted metal visible on the interior door panels as per the first pic in this thread, that's another complication.
Most people paint the inside of the door to match. You can wrap the metal part of the inside of the door in vinyl and hide the seem behind the rubber seal

Was thinking of reworking the shape of the ribbed section so it's lines are more complementary with the handle.
I’ve done afew door cards with bung angled handles.most of the time we just re drilled the holes in the door to straighten handle. Small rivnut/plusnut seem to hold better and flex a lot less

Sem products are good, just do exactly as the instructions say and you be fine. We use to paint /dye shit all the time for cars/boats/planes

In real life they look cool with that kit. Mooneyes had one but it was a panel van on wide smoothies

I just went with the race pak stuff yeah it’s expensive and way over the top for what I really need but it has all the senders ready to go and just the ease of the dash. Now hopefully all the old boys won’t get there tits in a tangle when I turn up with car powered by black magic and ban it

With all this diy stuff is there any way of running wheel speed sensors and shock travel sensors?

Sweet I’ll look into it

Sweet cheers, the class rules say no injection but ignition is free. Was thinking of trying to run a ecu without the injector side of things

Been thinking of getting back into racing and want to try something abit different so I’m thinking pre 65. They have more relaxed rules then classic racing but they seem to be abit behind on the tech side of things.Since I’ve moved north and doing stuff all I’ve started mocking up a car and was wondering if there’s a data logger/ gauge monitor thing that works stand alone not off computer that runs efi?
id like to see if it could do rev limit and have all the gauges in one display.I know I may be over complicating things but want my car to be different from the other in the class (big ugly gauges with shift light and wire in extras). Any ideas welcome
