  1. Years ago I used a lpg barra on a power glide with 75 shot of nos and China turbo and ran mid to high 10s. Used the sump of a territory as is in 2 bits and shorter, manifolds of a turbo motor, turbo was the biggest $500 option, power glide we did have to get something done as kill standard converter and diff was a hilux welded up in a 720. Was real fun and I think $6000 all up and ran nearly 2 drag seasons with no real drama. The computer and fuel side was most of the cost

  3. Yeah when I was fitting things to new utes afew years ago I brought this up in a meeting with big Auckland dealers and the response was not our problem when warranty runs out. They never sold the parts to you they sold you a truck and u had the parts fitted but as a service to you as a customer we will get them fitted before pick up. Toyota was the only one that wouldn’t let curtain products fitted

  4. My wife’s best mate has somthing to do with this she.Insurance company’s are having a shit how the bullbars and such are taking utes off the road in a small crash.they are questioning how are they not under cert when they change the strength of the Ute.they don’t want to insure any modification.

I know  if you  do the bolts up on some certain brand bars to tight you crush the front crumple zone on a ranger chassis. Some Utes you can see the front of the chassis sag after fitting

  5. There’s afew teslas up north people tow boats with and seem to go ok. The boat club about 6 months ago did by a ldv and was raving about it in there monthly newsletter but I’ve seen it’s been replaced by a new bt50

  6. BMWs have been glued together for years, they don’t want crashed ones repaired like teslas. When I was in Germany last year went and seen a mate who runs a wreckers and the oldest car was 9 years old

  8. There’s heaps of these things up north being used on farms and tip runs. There’s a guy that beach launch’s his 5 meter boat with one and seems to ok. Impact off road does lift kits and bull bars
