  1. Cheers bro bit of a mish. Yeah bit of a random plate haha I just like plates that don't have any ties to particular vehicles can go on anything .
  2. Hi all the cars all certed and legal . Went racing a few times best time of 11.5 @ 119mph , still some time to gain but I was stoked with 1.5 60ft times and consistently running mid 11s is good enough for a Streeter. I recently put some recaro seats and a nardi in for a lil more comfort haha .   6. Thought id share my project ive owned since 2003 i got it imported from Bakersfield California. I had the pick of 3 repu's being that i was a broke ass first year apprentice i brought the cheap one , which in hindsight should of brought the mint one as would have saved heaps more time but i saved a car so whats done is done . My 75 was in pretty poor condition it drove and stopped but was a heap of shit really it had a 3 speed jatco and a fair bit of rust and missing parts . Finding parts proved to be hard as all i had back then was mazdarepu forum and ebay to try find shit . So i proceeded to strip the cab and bed from the chassis and strip the chassis down as well took the cab n bed to a guy i worked with to do the panel work . Nearly a year in the shop and fuck all progress and what work was done was shit so took it out and dropped off to and old school panel beater next to my friend tims paint shop it was there for awhile but he done a killer job we got the hood media blasted came out good apart from the massive x in the panel from the frame , he had too much pressure in the gun and stretched all the panel steel. (3 x panel beaters over the years had a go at it couldnt bring it back ) so i said fuck it ill find another one meanwhile tim got on to painting the chassis and suspension and driveline so i could get chassis rolling ready to put cab n bed back on . We went with a house of kolor kandy apple red on a dirty gold ( plates are same colour) im happy how well the paint jobs held out i end up getting a another hood and bumper and hood s/s trim from the states and tim painted the tailgate hood and valance about 6 years after it was painted he done a awesome job he commented on how well the hood was paneled as my friends at Kati-fab made 1 hood outa two . Chrome work was done by advanced electroplating in hams . My good friend jacob built and ported the motor we had all the rotating assembly balanced and rx8 rotors slotted out to 3mm for the carbon apex seals. My friend toby done all the alloy polishing on the motor hes the best in the game in my opinion. I brought some 15" f90 simmons and 6 to 4 adaptors offset would have never worked and looked too small in the gaurds so sold them and brought some fr18x8s that were 5x114 so my good mate ryan made some new billet hubs and i weld up the axles old pcd and he machined them to suit the new pcd and brakes i found a set of s4 rx7 calipers and brand new rotors . I got a auto upholstery place in whakatane to do the seat and door cards and roof lining then i done the dynamat while it was at the greens i got a dude in the carpet to finish off the interior. Umm got it started thats about as far as it got then moved to western Australia i dropped it off at the greens to get it all sorted they done a rad job basically redone most things hah including the wiring and exhaust as well as getting it vinned and wof rego cert . So when i came back from perth i picked up a going legal car best Christmas ever in the space of a month or so run in motor and got it tuned pulled 200kw with the 48 ida . The last few years ive just kept it serviced and continued to mod and change things like underdriven vee belt pulleys instead of gillys haha showing my age with that ive got a brand new rx4 13b well plates (tallport) and housings just need rotors and stat gears as i have a brand new s6 shaft 12at front cover and new sump and ive sussed some new s6 rotors so may look at building a n/a stage2 as a decent cruiser , as the pp needs to be in a s1 rx7 or something that handles better haha . S4 13bpp 43mm ports greens marked the port timing and we ported them brand new housings and plates filled by greens, rx8 rotors with comp bearings , new s4 eshaft new s6 stat gears 20b oil pump new sump n pick up . S/s manifold fabbed by me has -6 weld ons for vacuum to booster nylon spacers and a weber 48 ida had a few mods done has been real reliable so far . Fuel system has a s/s pickup to the holley red pump and speedflow filter and holley reg . Speedflow fittings and s/s braided hose throughout the truck . Real deal radiators made a custom alloy radiator and oil cooler real good honest guys to deal with. 10lb flywheel and 5puck exedy clutch 12at gearbox which is pretty fucked but keeps going been using redline heavy gear oil the red stuff works miracles. Stock 2 piece shaft with new ujs Locked 4.8:1 diff same as b1600. Polished fr18s x8s 215 tyres all around Umm some autometer mechanical gauges and digital shift light Budweiser tap as shifter wood wheel from grip royal . Oh i changed out the battery box on the side of the bed with little as wheelchair battery and alloy box heaps tidier i reckon.
