RAD! and the 4age looks just lovely
Reminded me of this read: http://www.speedhunters.com/2015/03/jdm-underdog-the-four-door-ae86/
Also, what model Carina does your friend have? I own a ta41 sedan and I don't find many relevant examples of other Carinas outside of Eastern Europe or of course Japan

It must have been a stunning day out Kaiteri today!
I unfortunately ended up being busy until later in the afternoon, but I went for a hoon out there regardless. I saw various cool oldschools coming the other way (most likely a few cruise members) and when I got to Kaiteri it was looking niiiiiice! Rivaling the views of peak summer I reckon.
I hope someone pops up a couple of photos. I saw the famous Viva still there parked up, but I couldn't locate the owner.- 1

Cool photos. Love it.
I think it's very cool that your grandfather was the original owner. Especially cool that you have the receipt and plates as well
I look forward to seeing it sitting on some nice wheels -
Congratulations! She's stunning.
I dream of owning a s30 one day

Nelson: Cars and Coffee (monthly meet)
in South Island Region
Posted
Hello Nelsonians
Not to intrude as I am aware a good bunch of you on here meet regularly on Sundays, but I am helping a client and friend of mine who owns Fresh Choice Nelson and is a massive car enthusiast with an event he wants to emulate in New Zealand. Basically, a pop up coffee shop, last Sunday of each month, differing locations.
Facebook page in progress: https://www.facebook.com/Cars-and-Coffee-Nelson-642013185936943
I hope to see some you there. Mark plans to expand this event if the first two meets go well.
Cheers,
Rory
ps: Soon we are also performing a low-key trial of a 'race' event, however this will be more for your newer high spec cars
