  1. For this one yeah, might be on a honeymoon haha (plans for that not confirmed but it's likely)
  2. It's likely I'll be away that weekend next year, but I really want to do the ride again lol
  3. 125's only also I might add. also GN paddock speedway would be great too
  4. National GN rally? none of this moped melee carry on Rules; 1: spend no more than $500 on ya bike, 2: send it
  5. I might go ahead and adapt my scooter into a different motorcycle more capable of such adventures
  6. Fixed that on the day lol. Nah I need to sort carb issues, and my air filter split on the bottom, could explain why it died every time I went through water on the last leg of the final day, and a few other things to address.
  7. I could be keen - probably need to give my scoot a birthday first
  8. tbh this ride made me want an actual dual sport bike for more epic bike adventures. giz DRZ400
  9. I gave mine a bit of a look over when I unloaded it. It had a small list of problems; -broke the bottom of my leg shield -both my headlight and tail light don’t work anymore -headlight came loose -legshield mount bolt unwound itself and fell off -air filter split and fell off -right foot peg rubber is toast and the best one yet; my front wheel nearly fell off cause the axle but unwound itself and I rode about 30km with a front wheel flopping around in my forks
  10. Those aprilias look pretty cool and are cheap! I had a brief look at them too, mostly wondering if the front end off one of those will fit a cb125 lol
  11. So that pep talk when we stopped by the river worked then! haha
  12. I vote a step thru scooter from the 70’s next time
  13. I’ve got some grouse shots of a scooter in places it really doesn’t belong if that’s any use for any of that too.
  14. Also thanks @Whoopeecock for letting me have a hoon on your monkey (don’t say that sentence out loud if you don’t want any sideways looks), they’re a pretty sweet rig and my only regret was not testing out the abs haha.
  15. Who’s making the cold chisel award trophy for next year @RUNAMUCK should be for the least practical bike on the ride, my lower back is telling me it might have been me this time
  16. Fuck I am rooted. can’t wait to do it again next year, not on a scooter. Lol
  17. Yeah I’d just fill up when we all stop for lunch, that should have me well covered for fuel for the day.
  18. Grouse I can get just over 200km to a tank. Should get away with a 5L jerry in support wag and can top off the tank at the lunch stop on day 1. Light adv scoot ready for action (nearly)
  19. Does anyone know how many kms each leg of the trip is? Just trying to plan fuel/how much extra I’ll need.
