After testing the hand brake on the green Mirage. It needs a little bit of work, for maximum sideways fun.

Yup I've got a 2001 Toyota Vitz RS. The manual versions have a short shift kit in them too.
Excellent quick little car. Had mine for just over 6 years. Some like my Vitz came stock with a heavy duty clutch. And after 100,000KM'S it's still going strong. But yeah, it's on 170,000KM'S now, and is starting too get a little smokey. The 1NZ FE engines do that over time. But their reliable as.

Regionilisng could work.
anyone from north/west/east wanna step up and find and organise a venue and we can roll a rotation of each area once every four months?
The rotating meetups sound like a really good idea.

My original coil was fine for the conversion, but dies soon after due to being 40 years old. Ohms is often stamped on the bottom
Totally agree with this. My green mirage has an electronic set up swapped into it from a late 80s early 90s mirage I was told. You dont need too swap the coil.
My second mirage, had the old setup, with the same coil.
It's all good. But Hey, if your swapping that, you may want too stick in a brand new coil for piece of mind. It always helps too have a spare one sitting in the car.

Saw this on Trademe too, as a typical Mitsubishi foamer I, had too take a noesy at the listing. I have always liked the shape of the early 90s Diamante's. There ain't no 30R-S examples like this around now.
Glad that it has gone too a good home.

Is anyone from Auckland / further up north interested in going too this. Was thinking it would probably be a good idea too cruise down in a convoy of old Mitsubishi's.
