who are our resident frog enthusiasts? gf's 2007 peugot 307 hdi is giving us dpf additive low warning on dash. my first question, is there a dpf reservoir under the car somewhere we need to top up, or can we biff in an in-tank additive to make the environment okay again? and secondly, what kind of additive do we need? google saying eolys, but cant seem to find any nz suppliers of this shit? google is not definitive with answers, and shes tried a few garages and both have said cant help ya sorry gotta go to peugot dealer. would appreciate any help as modern euro diesel is making my head spin. thanks boes

holy birthday cake batman, that was epic. gutted i couldnt get my shit together for the full hog, but even 2 days was enough to fizz the bung real hard. massive thanks to the support crew, Mof and his great organisation and leadership skills, and all the riders for being absolute GCs. was such an awesome crew good yarns good vibes. will post some pics up soon. was trying to take as many as i could but was too busy cheesing, a go pro is a must next year. Highlights in no particular order: Bart and the two hole turkey roast machine, see you round like a jaffa, using a subaru outback as a sledge reverse towing down the nevis hill, double browns in picturesque locations, jugs of speights, roadside gourmet bb grillers, Pet Shop Boys at 11pm at piano flat campsite, old man range rock steps, large phallic shaped rock on windy hill, damside snags. Basically you just suck if you didnt go -

1982 XL250R - Road Legal - Seeking advice
TimShadboltfan27 replied to probablyxl's topic in Two Wheels
Nice rig! I have a thread about mine on here somewhere they are very cool and capable bikes. Be interested to see what the quality of the ali carb is like. Keep it as original looking as poss. Plenty of haggard ones come up for sale, but there are very few left that are in tidy original condition and I haven’t seen a road legal one come up for sale for a long time. I saw a road legal XL250S (model before this with 23” front wheel) recently sold for 5k wof reg and was very tidy. They are somewhere around there for mint examples -

Excellent day was had by all! Unsure if anyone would have mistaken the vehicle lineup for an oldschool event. but the people and scenery definitely made it rad! thanks to everyone for coming along and to @nzstato for building a lush shed and donating a lawnmower to a good cause. Will start putting some ideas together for the next one when there are more degrees floating around -
Same on the RX125. Happened a lot on east cape and was super annoying. assume water getting into points gubbins and turning everything british? Would be interested to know if you find a solution that isnt just 12v cdi conversion

me and @Truenotch are locked in for some Mosgiel based shenanigans. Will probs head over from central early sat morn if @kiwi808 wishes to convoy. A quick pint at a country watering hole would be pretty neat. How inconvenient to stretch the loop up to Middlemarch for a shandy? Or Outram on the way back? -
