  1. could also try that rwd mitsi Facebook page, lots of people on there with parts that may have a yoke. will have a look in my parts paddock today and see if theres one
  2. think the easiest to find gearbox yoke for you to find would be to go to pick a part and find a yoke off a L300 van , some of them ran the yoke you need. you need the larger shaft with the smaller driveshaft end bit. they are out there. any plans on garage storing her?
  3. i didn't do the build brought it with the motor built, has had a bit done though from the receipts has apparently 153rwhp.
  4. have a worked 2t with twin 45's in ma ke25 coupe. 130hp at the wheels i have had issues with oil pump, get a good one. nah go hard on it there cool little engines.
  5. have one of these, would be good with a roll bar. 4wd and really short. weld up the diff etc, lots of room for a tray.
  6. mean van heres my cut down one. 2L . cut the back off but regret it now as it had hardly any rust.
  7. hi there have put a newer engine in my old van but have had to drop the engine crossmember down 24mm, (1980 L300) have machined up some alloy blocks for the job, is this okay? or should i modify my crossmember with the mig? engine x member is seperate to the front end x member.
  8. didn't the early L200's run the smaller output shaft or am i wrong? but had the larger input shaft?
  9. have a vh45 here with a porsche manifold for $1000 has loom and everything. manifold hasn't been adapted yet but have some thick billet blocks for it, go v8
  10. had a look and they do have pressed in pin\stub, they are from 'x2 industries' hopefully they have a good name for themselves. link; http://www.x2industries.com/dodge-1979-2006-dodge-d50-mighty-max-drop-spindles-p-3312.html#.WYABxGPwzsl thanks for the advice.
  11. hi i have brought some 2" drop spindles off a guy for my 1980 L300 van, they have come with a ndt test sheet. can i get a cert with these? or do they have to be a certain brand etc? think they are from the usa. would like to know before installing them, cheers.
  12. have got the same 125 honda trike at home, they have a low high selection lever and a hi-torque? lever on the gearbox have a play around with them as mine is a bit sticky\trouble to select sometimes, may help.
  13. had my one crack around the bottom 3 days out of warranty . wouldn't buy another one, look nice though.
  14. can you push it the other way? we use this system on our mud pumps at work, normally a bit of a smack with a rubber mallet and the shaft comes out, although yours could be old and dry. some of them have multiple widths of 'rope' so quite a thick gland.
  15. hey man choice work good to see how pros do this work. was in an old guys shed the other day and he had a pretty mint early 50's studebaker 4 door straight 8 for $4500 de-reg, looked real similar to your beast, they ant made by the same umbrella are they? shame i have too much shit.
  16. hey I've got one of these but no spare parts. think you guys have a dodge d50? pickup over there, i would be finding the running gear out of one of them and bolting it in rather than spending money on the crappy auto. should bolt straight in too. good bumpers for this model are hard to get here.
  17. yeah got a whole running L200 with 4g32 in the paddock if you want to strip it, its going to the dump. some L200 gearboxes have bigger input and output shaft sizes,no point putting one of them behind a 1.6. pm me for my number if you want some bits. might motivate me to finish my wagon
  18. 5 speed will bolt straight in, if your in the bop sometime I've got a couple of spare free ones. ditch the 4g32 and put a 2L in it, have a spare unknown condition one for $200. looks like you got a good one
  19. hey am keen to hear some more about how you brought your parts from malaysia, and what you do for freight etc, have a ke25 coupe and keen on a few things. cheers
  20. hey you could try using some plumbers flux paste from a plumbing suppliers place, we use it when brazing brass to copper etc, or dirty pipework, may or may not work for you. have also used it for brazing brass to steel , lots of heat too.
  21. think they are 8" they are on a kingcat rideon
  22. if you need a set of ride on lawn mower rear wheels I've got a spare set for free if need be.
  23. yeah so been a while. collected 9 sigma wagon 14" steelies , some stiffer springs, and have done a little work on my engine. tried to buy new where i can\afford. got a ute gearbox for it (stronger?) , brought a g of c02 for the welder , no excuses now not to do some work on it. (will find some)
  24. has factory body tag and a cage number and logbook.
  25. hey there anyone know anything about roll cages? been offered a 70's corolla race car for what seems to be a good price but worried that the roll cage may not be up to todays standards, has logbook but no number plates. he last used it at taupo 10 years ago. will this be allowed back on a track etc? cheers
