  1. Nah they look way better without side windows! Your rad sounds like its mounted on the original plate, it needs to be cut back flush and the rad mounted on the front panel. See how Conrads sits tight to the front panel, that's how yours should fit.
  2. Phwoooooorrrrrr!!!! I love and covet it!!!!! Cibie's RS wheels and bubble arches, nice set of recaro's and a panelled in rear and we are talking serious car porn!!!
  3. Oh yeah I totally agree there, nice set of RS wheels or slotmags, quarter bumpers and four big cibies on the front, old school rally look!!!
  4. Oh Plenty of ideas, but I used to work on these things back in the day, and I'm super 70's influenced, so unless you want it to look like this:- http://www.paykanhunter.com/2009/06/custom-hunter.html Pay me no attention check out the site tho its quite useful, its dedicated to the Hunter and the car that it became, the Paykan in Iran. They made the Hillman Hunter there until 2005, yep that's not a misprint 2005!!!!! you can still buy heaps of new parts from there if you need them!!! In all seriousness I quite like the lowered wide steels and thin whitewall tyre look, nice paint and your there!
  5. Cool car dude, and it looks like its coming along nicely
  6. I recognize that dog!!! Hi Conrad nice to see you on here!!!! Mk2 Panel van, nice buy I love them!
  7. Your FD wagon has to be super rare, there's a guy here in Auckland that usually has all the contacts for spares, if you ever need any! I've heard all about Linn (Lyn?) Rogers from a friend of mine who is literally obsessed with all things Vauxhall, he's a bit dissapointed that I've got a recon 202 to put in my Wagon. It used to be a 2.3 but I bought it engineless to save it I will set up a page for the Victors, as soon as I finish importing my Mustang and finishing my SD1 Rover, I like to get stuck into projects but I'm learning to finish them one at a time. Nice wheels on your car too, whats the stud pattern?
  8. Lol, No I was going to buy it blind and drive it back to Auckland, I'm quite glad I didn't. I figured there had been so much work done, it had probably been done to a fairly good standard, and it seemed a bit cheap! I'm guessing your prop is too long, the 5 speed box is a bit longer than the old 4 speed!
  9. Nice to see it coming along, and good to find its not made of bog
  10. Awesome Van, I really thought about buying it myself, looked like a really good deal. 2.0 pinto too if I remember correctly.
  11. Man that's a cool car I've got a Vx490 and a Victor Wagon too, but both are the later FE model. Nice to see a FD Wagon on the road they are super rare now, it looks like a Ventora to me tho with the 3.3 litre engine and up graded front grill. has it always been the 3.3?
  12. Whoa back to front Callipers? is that a new thing?
  13. No worries same colour as your one too Come and say hello!
  14. Master pulled and behind the desk Bigfoot
  15. Good man Its always good to get the hard yards done on a project while its still fresh Now as for wheels, i don't think there's anything with enough offset in a 4 stud here at the moment, FWD rims just look wayyy to skinny. I'll check to see if I've still got a set of deep dish Revolutions in the shed, they were off a Mitsi but I cant remember if it was four or five stud? Might be too big a set of rollers for the old lady anyway, sick dish tho!
  16. Complete with Booster amigo? If its still there, will pull it tomorrow. And before this starts, No I'm not running round pulling parts for Ya'all
  17. So Finally i got myself registered on here! I'm Ben from Zebra, I must have given that car at least 5 stays of execution, I just kept looking at it thinking "man its so rust free" Then as soon as I checked and the rego was on hold, I really got into trying to sell it, Good on ya for saving it, I'll help out where I can. So who needs EX Lancer bits? We've just got a really good one in with a d notice, so you cant buy it whole, but man there's some mint parts!
