  3. So repairs: rear guards, sills, lower window/boot corner. Cowl panels been cut, blasted, rust killed and primed. metal work has been carried out Rust worms, the roof was bare metaled to find a couple, worth it really for the effort going in

  8. digital dash has diff plugs, im using the analog turbo dash
  9. I have a turbo dash im wanting to put into a non turbo car, 81 celica. The plugs are the same, I stripped it, swapped the odo's over to get my kms, but when plugging in found its crazy, fuel gauge works constant, turbo lights constant, oil pressure works when ign off but not on, I mean its obvious the wirings different, I guess im hoping someone has done this before and maybe has an idea of wiring diagram for the ta63's
  10. Lock the ecu timing? Im not sure what to do there, also can i run ignition 1 to both chanels of the ignitor to fire twin coils? Only have the one signal cable

  12. Well it works factory and is the only crank positioning sensor on the vehicle
  13. so ive wired it all up, the computers just had a new subboard fitted to run the 3t. ive got the link cable to laptop tune, can any one lend a hand to get this bad boy to fire/ run? running the 2 coils of a 2 channel suby ignitor with the original 4 post distributor signal. any help appreciated.
  14. Have a g1 link wired up to a 3t, has any one a tune to get her started. Factory fuel and turbo setup
  15. new plugs fitted. dialled master to 150 she runs spoke to the original tuner, he said between 125-175 is where he would have had it. how much would 1o increments be? just trying to work out what it would have been before the dial back
  16. cranks over with 6 sny errors. master fuel set up is 100 atm injectors went to low impedance with resistors fitted, now factory 1uz high impedance with now resistance fitted
  17. the fuel values are the unchanged values from the originals. look up imgur.com/DMcZwcA for some reason I can even paste text onto this page. basically the 570cc were never tuned in, so the only change is the dial back when it was idling because it was over fueling

Ok so ive got a 1uz running a link v5. its been tuned and wired correctly. was running great. started a supercharger upgrade, switched fuel injectors from 215cc to 570cc sparky plugs in a hand controller and "dials the injector cycle down to 1% at idle. Ive switched it back to standard with 215cc installed again.I have also switched injector plugs .it has 12v either side of the injectors (link normal?) now It wont run.it fires with either sprey. Ive got spark, I presume its the fuel , getting none or very little. I have the pc link programme, and can see the injector pulse widths, but theirs nothing to suggest what he played with, or what im missing? this ran just a week ago, fouled up plugs and limped in but still ran. can anyone work with this info and suggest what to adjust to get the correct tune back?
  20. good to know. yea im not a fan of the coil overs, i heard you cant get them certed any more. but im not racing or doing anything much in it. Its just a cruiser. the gt4 option would work, i think aw11 inserts were used the first time around in the celica, but i called bnt with measurements and they couldnt offer anything but shortening the originals
  21. Ive been using super lows in both the celica and corona, im compressing them and would like to know once the ride hight is 100mm lower than factory which shocks to use in the standard struts. Has anyone bothered with this and have a reference to a strut they used ? bnt tell me get them shortened but the factory hydraulic struts could prob go.
  22. ok so I fixed it yesterday arvo it had compression, day 1 test. and yea this had 12v unplugged either side so not normal. old mate above said he switched plugs around but no change. but yea I was right, it was the ecu, the earth for no2 has failed so I bridged it to run off 3. I looked over the net and couldn't get any info on which cylinders bank fired on the 20v. any way shes a runner thanks for the support team
  23. so you looked at this? I got it sunday but are you saying you swapped the injectors around and had the same issue? I found 12v on the earth circuit so im guessing ecu might have received a bad dose and failed that injection sequence
