  1. First drive awesome, sounds like you're almost there now Matt well done! Looking forward to hearing how you go with the Cert now, I'm still keen on a set of your flash CNC steering arms when they get the official tick of approval. Good luck.
  2. Yeah I'm fairly confident now, after hearing all of that, that they will ultimately be rejected as well given the issues with welds despite Don Hoff initially being happy that its the bolts that hold the pieces together. I might just list them and my first set on eBay UK and sell them back to someone over there and try to recoup some cash, could probably do the same with my unused GAZ/Milton Mk2 Cortina struts although the freight would be a killer, they'd still be OK on a race car here just not able to be cert'd for road use which was gutting. Really keen on a set of your arms Matt, I'm sure there would be others interested too.
  3. No rush on the steering arms Matt, yeh I was interested to see how they go for you through the Cert process and bump steer test, you've put a lot of work into them so sounds like they should hopefully sail through with no problems. Long tail of woe with my Milton steering arms unfortunately, I originally bought their first version which were just cut and welded Mk2 Cortina originals, obviously they were rejected outright so I then bought the version 2 which Don Hoff has had a good look at and verbally ok'd but wants NDT tested which I knew would be required anyway but I'm a bit nervous now after hearing your experience with them, to avoid any issues I think I'm going to be better off with a set of your flash CNC ones - any idea on how much they might be ballpark??
  4. Hi Matt Great work I've been following your posts with interest recently, my Anglia project has a 4AGE and T50 5 speed and is being painted at the moment. Unfortunately not knowing any better I went down the very expensive route of buying & importing the entire Milton front suspension catalogue only to find the Mk2 Cortina based struts are not able to be certified in NZ & are now very expensive paper weights, the Milton steering arms have been verbally ok'd by Don Hoff but he wants them crack tested. I really like the look of your CNC arms they look awesome, any chance of getting a set made for other Anglia enthusiasts or were they a one-off?? cheers Kelvin
