  1. hi, yeh, it is, but has to take it out the car to weld it due to access.
  2. Hi Guys Anyone know any Mechanic shop open on Sat afternoon in Dunedin/closer to the airport the better. Or anyone has Garage with tools (will pay cash and beer)? Needs to replace a cracked exhaust manifold from an old corolla. Thanks
  3. Thanks guys, Yes, it is paint transfer, but it is at a bodyline. Any good recommendations around Akl/Hamilton area?
  4. Hi Guys This isn't old school car, but come here to ask some advice anyway. As showing in the photo, the car door is dented ( thanks for someone careless when opening their door) Is there any way can pull this small dent out without painting it? Cheers
  5. Thanks guys. looks straightforward, just need find the exact washer. I will report back on the progress.
  6. I am in CHCH I will follow this thread, what do you think? The only question is I don't know how he actually got the injector out? no undo any threads? http://forums.mg-rover.org/diesel-forum-104/how-remove-swap-injectors-pics-249678/
  7. So K-trips is right, the bolt was very lose, I lost lot of fuel because of that. I tightened up to the verge of snapping it, it helped but still leaks abit. Next step is change out the washer? any recommended suppliers?
  8. You talking about the copper washer near the tip of the injector?
  9. Forgot to mention, There is a lock mounting plate on ( which I took off for the photo), so it shouldn't have moved. Yes, tried to tighten it, it couldn't move tho. I did not want to apply too much force.
  10. Hi guys found a leak around the diesel injector (see bubbles). wondering if anyone has dealt with this issue before and which part is likely needs to be replaced?
  11. Hi Team Tricky problem here, see if someone can point me to the right direction. 1998 220 SDI diesel turbo had hard starting problem recently I think could be either fuel pressure or glow plug but don't think is directly related to the following: This morning i was driving for only about 3 minutes. Engine stalled all the sudden Glow plug light does not come on anymore before starting Engine can not start and sounds like just puffing while turning over (or not), no more starter motor cranking sound. Central locking does not work, but you can hear the relay buzzing Hazard lights does not work, but you can hear the relay buzzing while pushing down. Indicators does not work. There are maybe other things don't work. I have checked ALL the transparent type fuses, they seems all good. Where do i go from here? Thanks
  12. Hi guys I wonder if anyone here in CHCH got a bearing puller like this http://www.trademe.co.nz/home-living/outdoor-garden-conservatory/hand-tools-equipment/other/auction-667746371.htm so i can pull the side carrier bearings out of a RWD toyota corolla diff. I can come to you and use it on the spot or borrow it for a day. Cheers Please reply or pm.
