  2. Had other plans but I should be ok to enter for the Saturday. ... to be confirmed...
  3. Iv also been thinking i couuld use my boot as my own personal mobile bomb shelter. Iv started the fb fizz. got a couple of Mazdas interested already
  4. I should also mention that 4 large forward sliding drawers will be mounted under the base
  5. This weekend was all about making sparks, I cut out all the sharp edged panel steel and prepped the spots I would be welding to. After fucking around with wrong regulators I managed to get this far (with a little help) After stealing some wood from the old man I managed to get this far today The superking mattress will take up all of that area, except for 80mm a side
  6. I thought that was in my head? or was I doing the bass line out loud again?
  7. Ok excellent. I will wait at WOW carpark for anyone to turn up. maybe leave there at 6.15
  8. I would bring it if i could! its a little tight where its parked and I don't have my HT. Maybe we sneak away a little early after tomorrows meet so you can marvel at the length of my ahhh ... bus
  9. Hmm maybe iv lost bogan status and up/downgraded to white trash
  10. The unfinished ceiling The first thing I did yesterday was rip out this round bed... that rotated. I'm now left with all this space, since I am a tall bastard I will be cutting out the 50x25, starting from scratch and making a base with drawers to suit my super king mattress
  11. I would call it a front mounted engine (blue box besides the drivers seat)
  12. I will get a pic of the ceiling tomorrow too as it is quite sweet
  13. Well Iv gone and done it... Iv brought a housebus to be cool like Alex and Hannah. Its a ex Army, ex SBL 1986 Hino ranger rocking a EH700 6.4 Litre diesel I get the impression the guy that started this conversion was doing a really good job but suddenly got the urge to finish it quickly/untidily. The good thing about it is that I don't feel bad for pulling some it apart to modify it This must be all part of the housebus starter kit! The current line up Let me know your thoughts/suggestions/experiences as ALL the systems need to be done Chur!
  14. I gave this a slightly spirited drive over the takaka hill yesterday and I can say the B20 engine has a surprising amount of grunt. The brakes do need a little attention but that wont be hard as its disc brakes all round! I think external sunvisor, widen the steels it has on it and of course, Oldschool slam
  15. Absolutely correct, Plus camping on the move! Chanel has signed up (jandalstomper) I will get a build thread sorted for her once the volvo gets down here. Heres a teaser for the people
  16. Yes I realize this, Just thought i would put that up anyway. Worn gear lever bushes? or the lever not quite pushing as far as it should? just a thought thats all.
  17. My 2 cents... Had a Mk4 golf with the same problem and found that the selector cables needed adjustment. Of course I adjusted it the wrong way and made it worse, adjusted it the other way and problem solved. May be totally useless information but it may not .
  18. I'm not sure yet if I will be taking up the LTD or a Volvo wagon. Will keep you guy's updated
