Rotorua VCC SWAPMEET!-8th July

How's the weather looking ? -
When I first started working, we were selling and mixing Automotive paint. There was Dulon, Duco and Dulux spraying enamel. i don't remember mixing much Duco even back then in the late 70's. The Dulux rep told me it was being phased out then.
-
Isn't that the old Duco ? That went out in the 70's.

Dat sun, looks mighty like an Imp to me. A local guy in town done a few Datsun engine conversions and they went very well. -
Anyone know who that good looking bastard was that took 3rd place in the beard competition ? Had a bowler hat on.
-
Should see some of you guys over the weekend. Watch for big whiskers and a bowler hat, or a Purple Townace van.

Dick was a neat old guy wasn't he ? We did a bit of mower/rotary hoe swapping. -
What are the inside dimensions on the actual cabin UJ ? It looks roughly the same width as our Gas Station @ 1800 mm but we are only 2940 mm long.
-
Looks good.
-
And, how about some of the spelling ???

Always on the go at swapmeets looking for more shit to not find a home for when I get back.
-
You know, I have sold Tridon stuff for 12 years and we haven't had a crook one yet. There is talk of them being shit so I guess we have been lucky ?
-
All seems good. A successful trip to swapmeat and now Taihape on Sunday. Temp gets to halfway up the Vinegar Hill and big long Mangaweka climb. Thanks for all the advice people.

Yep, 1/4" plug in. Looks like an RK-81A Sony piece. I paid $1800-00 with a pair of 150 W technics speakers back in 1984. It is a grouse little stereo.
-
Thanks guys. I rustled out the instructions this morning and see now there is another cord to plug in to the CD/AUX socket on the front. Gotta find the right one now ?
-
It came with a twin wire cord that I have plugged in to the Phono jack. Maybe I need another cord to plug in to the CD/AUX socket in the front of the unit ?

Who is the stereo whizz on here ? Back in 1984 I bought a Sony FH-7MKII home stereo. I couldn't afford the CD player at the time and I recently bought one off ebay. It is the correct model (CDP-7F) to go with my unit. The seller said it worked fine for him. I can't get it to go any less than full volume, zero to hero with some crackling. It has the switch on the back for 110-120 volts vs 220-240 volts, I have it on 220-240. Could the switch be not converting it to our rating or maybe something else crook. The stereo works fine on tuner/cassette and turntable volume wise so I have ruled out the stereo itself at fault. Any ideas ?? Thanks. Gary.

And pissed through for a W.O.F today. Better buy some shit to go in the back of it now.

Right. Radiator rodgered, new waterpump, new thermostat, new radiator cap, new viscous fan hub, new headgasket on. Been for a drive and all seems good. Temp gauge at half mast after 1/2 hour drive. Have a bolt left over though ?? looks like a seat mount bolt to me but ???????????
