  1. We got some goldy hued stuff ages ago at work, feels like it would split when you flare it to me, sure doesn't want to straighten easily. I don't even try to give the shit away let alone sell it.
  2. Bill sold Coby a while back now. He is a good bugger and can wrestle a race car round a track with the best of them. I think he still has the Nova but doesn't drive it anymore due to health reasons. I miss his monthly visits at work.
  3. You came into work yesterday and got some tubing for the windscreen washer ? It was me that served you, put 2 and 2 together looking at this last night.
  4. Did the pvc tube work out ?
  5. The new outfit that sell them are pretty crap with stock levels, just about every time we order some they have to come from Aussie.
  6. It's going to be a stirling effort if you manage to get a 7/16 nut on a 12mm stud. I think you will be okay. have a look on Nice products site, they might have something that will work if you want to match the stud thread.
  7. Yep, cut it out and do another patch. I use a chunk of 10 mm alloy behind the join, works well. And just keep the magnet on to tack it each side then take it off, magnetic pull can do funny things with the weld puddle. Skip around the patch with good tacks and let it cool well before zapping it again.
  8. Ahh, she was a bit wet and miserable at 6.30 this morning til 7.30 or so. I thought I saw you wander past the van but you weren't holding a duck so wasn't a hundy on i.d. Saw @UTERUS and @Ned an aisle over but didn't see them again but caught up with @Mop Head , @Beaver and @GuyWithAviators. Wasn't a bad swapmeet considering traders were down. Got a box full of 4bbl Holleys with 2 450cfm tunnel ram carbs for $100.00 so worth the trip.
  9. Thanks very much @Geophy. Will see that @Beaverhas a couple of half cooked dogs for sure.
  10. If you can please. What can I send back for you ?
  11. Need a pic from the back Rudi. Looks like a late 50,s 9" from that view but could be an 8" too. Cusso are quite round in shape from the back.
  12. Oh yeah, I have a mate lives there that could pick them up for us if I can't get an Old school relay to me in Dannevirke.
  13. Yeah, I think you're right, that does look like 114 to me. I will find my boy and show him the pics, almost certain he will buy them. Where are you ? Thanks mate. Gary
  14. Ah, wondered as to the Brock-lee connection. Yes, that sheds a bit more light. They are a tricky little setup with fuck all room for movement and travel will be pretty slim either with reset leaves or cut blocks etc. Don't want to balls it up as it is a very tidy little van. Thanks for this Michael.
  15. Yeah, was talking to Beaver at swapmeet about the lowering. Didn't catch up with Seedy though to get his take on keeping the spring captured. Couple of bags of cement maybe ? The rear is easy.
  16. They should look good on the young fellas van. Just need to figure out the front end for some low.
  17. Sounds pretty much like they will be the right pcd. I think 108 is the other close pcd.
  18. I thought you were Beaver but wasn't 100% sure tbh. Next time though, Palmy ?
  19. Wasn't bad, bit cold as usual. Plenty of shit to ponder, sold some stuff, bought a couple of things and talked to people you only see at swapmeets. Did see @Geophy and ? My son was hoping to find some 13 x 7 hotwires to put on his newly acquired 1983 C20 van but no luck. On @UTERUS recommendation here we tried Paulys on the way up, pretty good burgers, the chili chips were a bit savage, but manned them back like a girl with eyes and noses running.
  20. Anyone going for a look on Sunday ?
  21. Kumeu was pretty shit last weekend so this can only be better.
