Yea towbars and light trailers dont actually have any real regulations, kinda scary but no one has died so not much of a worry

Does anyone on here do exhaust fabrication or can recommend someone? Need a complete exhaust made for my vr4 legnum and one for my landy when I fit the turbo. Don't mind travelling if they are good but preferably east/south Auckland.

Sold a couple of land rover discovery rolling bodies and the guy from tokoroa turns up in this sweet AU ute on lpg

I smoked mother duck and quite a few of her ducklings in my old mk3 golf. I was behind someone when the came to a stop quickly so I just went around them and cleaned up the ducks just as they were walking past the other car, then the dweeb starts following me going crazy flashing their lights

I am wondering if I just suck it up and shell out for the Proxes R1Rs
They are only $512. I just ordered tyres for a shitty old mitsi and they are $595ea. Don't skimp on tyres when you have spent when you have spent good money on the rest of it

L300s had the same trans as well so if you find a fucked Toyota one you can just swap bellhousings
-
If Toyota made that engine family with the auto than yes. Its a fully hydraulic trans so is easy to swap

Do the auto gearboxes like the A43D and A44DL have the same ability ?
Yes as they are the same family of trans. You cant swap between the Axx series and A3xx

We've got a student making us a full sheet cnc plasma this year based around a regular boc handset and running Linux CNC so I might have to be in touch...
I can have a look in the back room at work for an old hypertherm plasma and a machine torch if it will make it easier

Another thing to watch out for is fuel tank size, the hornet I had only held 16l, seemed like I was at the fuel station daily which got annoying pretty quickly

You guys love doing things over and over huh, the fix is a $40 can of clear. Anything else is garbage and you will be doing it again. Nothing can hold out to UV and heat for this application like 2k urethane clear. Get a couple cans and a practice headlight if you are worried.
With a wipe of the paint protection I used they stayed looking mint for ages. The key is to properly polish them back, just using autosol ain't going to cut it
-
Keep in mind the width of the bike, too wide and you won't be able to lane split at 100k
-
It's easy to sand and polish them

Cam chains can wear out and the guides and chains are expensive

For Questions Regarding WOFs/CERTs/NUMBER PLATEs
in Tech Talk

If its a cheap easy process to un cert it Ill just buy some oem springs and bilstein shocks and then at least I can put the 17" evo 7 wheels on it. As it is I will have to put the 16s back on it each wof or get it re certified
