check out these
link will run damn near any combo just need to setup the calibration for the sensors, some subaru/ nissan pedal sensors are a lever arm type so can adapt a standard pedal if needed
You can get those from pick a part nice and cheap
-
What size throttle body do you need? Vw pedals are easy to mount and the throttle bodys come in various sizes

Any opinions?
I had a 650, went really well, I havent ridden a 400. I wanted another instead of the spada but they are not that common and the spada was cheap

Whats this rubber bit on the side stand supposed to do apart from fold under the stand and make the bike almost fall over?
-
If yours has a clutch plate type lsd they can be shimmed up to make them tighter and work very well for just a bit of time spent

Phenolic pistons have been around for ages

Fwiw I've just got another Honda Spada for the 35km commute to work, for a lil 2 fiddy carrying a fat cunt it goes pretty hard, paid $700 for it

What was the thread for then? People aren't going to work for the same hourly rate you charge yourself lol. I probably spent 8 hours pie-cutting my exhaust over my diff, the multiple changes of direction really took it's time!
If there was someone that could have done it without trying to make out like it's a big job and charge a reasonable amount then I would have. For the amount it's going to cost I'll spend a day on my back getting shit in my eyes
-
The exhaust on the vr4 is pretty easy, 2x 2.5" pipes merged into a single 3"

You may have some misconceptions as to what an hourly rate is
If I can manage to do it in an 8hr day then that's plenty, if I had a hoist I would have done it by now myself
-
Looks like I'll just do it myself, I'm not paying someone $1700+ to make something that can be done in a day.
Will get some ramps so I can get it up nice and high to get my fat guts under there

That would be amazing! Let me know how you get on.
Sorry for taking so long, I have a hypertherm powermax 600 here but unfortunately no torch leads for it, I can price up a new set at cost price if you are still interested

New WOF on the Defender, leave somehow approved, all set to head down! Likely depart the Monday before and camp/cruise the way there.
Made a road trip plan yet @M.H.?I havent really, more than likely I wont be able to so havent thought about it too much. Should probably find out who is driving down from Auckland and make some loose plans just incase. I havent even looked at what the land rover people have organised.
With it being over a 3000km round trip Im going to need some good hearing protection

White wheels just don't do it for me and neither do the 3 spoke wheels, will get some 6 spoke mc22 wheels for it
-
-
I'll need to book in to get you to repaint the tank though, and possibly the wheels, white wheels are grot

Yea it goes, was going to fly down but thought transportation wouldn't be that much.
The olds are coming up next weekend so they will bring it up

Fuck me bike transport is a rip, $310 to go from Hastings to Auckland, doesn't even cost that much more to transport a car

For Questions Regarding WOFs/CERTs/NUMBER PLATEs

I think what annoys people is having to get a cert for something lame like coilovers and then not being able to change wheel size where if you just fitted lowering springs you can change wheels/heights without a problem
