The engine I'm putting in my Land Rover is from a truck so is 24v. Would it be better to change the Land Rover to 24v or change the starter and alternator to a 12v

Then it wont matter, when it gets re registered the colour will be updated

Does it have a VIN or frame number?

Does it make any difference that the same running gear is used in later more powerful versions? The 4.6 v8 had 222hp and 400nm

On a Land Rover im doing an engine and gearbox conversion on will it need drive shaft loops? The engine and gearbox have been changed out for an isuzu unit, the orginal transfer box has been adapted to the isuzu gearbox in its original position with standard driveshafts. The land rover engine was a 2.5 turbo diesel 112hp, the isuzu is 3.9l turbo diesel 130hp. Will also have a 50mm body lift.

How many cylinders? 4cyl are easy enough but any more than that and it's better to get the pipe laser cut for perfect fitment

You will want sch40 or if you are doing it in stainless sch10

Most glow engines are ABC, aluminium piston, brass liner with a chrome bore. Usually when they are brand new they can be very tight. What brand and size is it?

Whats the cost of a new plate?

A mate is looking at a van the has been certed but on the plate its engine has been incorrectly stamped as a 4cyl not a 5cyl, would it cost anything to get that corrected? @cletus

What size tyres do you have on there?

There was a guy in Tauranga that put a 6bd1t in an 80 series, think I read about it on 4btswaps
