  1. I recommend the metal string and handles for DIY, its cheap and usually fast (depends on your talent for it) If the windscreen was previously replaced its usually a bit harder to do, because people use too much glue. 3/4 - 1 metre wire works best (depends on space inside car). Don't try to pull too hard, you want to get the wire hot through movement. sign for doin it right is when it starts to smoke a bit. guide the wire around the screen so you dont cut your paint, apply tape where it is a bit tight an on corners, same for dash and roof lining, can even tape some cardboard stripes close to the screen if you want to make a 100% sure. cheers, bene
  2. Hey Man, I almost bought this, but it was the combination of a few missing bits, rust and 10 cm water standing inside that I decided it was too much. bought myself an mr2 instead Body looked like it holds a few surprises, but its an awesome Car! good choice
  3. Thanks for changing the title, entry is 15$ per person and definattely worth it! since we are only 2-3 people so far, id prefer the 1.6.
  4. Hey Guys! As mentioned at the Whangarei meet I'd like to get a few people together to visit the Packard & Pioneer Museum. Heaps of interesting stuff there. loads of vintage machinery, bikes and of course Packards. So I'd suggest the 25.5 or the 1.6. Would be good to have an idea of how many people want to go. So who's keen? and which date would you prefer? Cheers Bene http://packardandpioneer.co.nz/
