  1. coil-over should be located on top of diff and into upper spring perch. the very parts designed to take the vehicle load
  2. TGP were, by far, the cheapest for son's Surf, but ex-Japan. eventhough it is a LN106 with wagon body, BNT/Repco/local brake shop had none in local stock either
  3. ensuring it is not a wheelbearing issue, first
  4. i made a heap of 12vDc heating pads to go under propagation trays, and fitted a basic ' variable resistor' type controller as getting too hot and frying the seedlings. i have a nuggetty 12v coil heater here if you wanted to see if that will work. 12v heating wire wrapped around steel/copper core, incased in concrete inside 100mm PVC. yours if you want it
  5. what about a urethane or PVC jointing cement like plumbers use ?
  6. Clint, is it true, that anything that needs re-vin/re-rego from either June/July this year, needs full chassis/underside strip/sandblast to check for rust ?
  7. but Mr, it is non-turbz 3L choocha mobile
  8. so if the lad fits new sparkbungs to his LN130 manual Surf/4Runner, will is fix the excess smoke and give him more than 15WHP ??
  9. GN's are the current Suzuki farm bike. low seat height works well for smaller built dairy farmers, and knobblies added for grip. we sell them as a new bike
  10. at this rate, i may have replaced the LC80 by 2024 !!
  11. i didn't realise you had even plotted the route when i first posted about 'key' access. as for setting one up, am not a rider, and with limited L/H function, nor would i endeavour to attempt something of this, as it would need to be ridden prior. i could advise some loops, if wanted/warranted, for a quite compact event. @RUNAMUCK Middlemarch Mainiototo !!
  12. WOW, good coverage, looks like a name change to Midland Madness......... the 'key' comment was to keep it in McKenzie/SCanty, but awesome trails. i do have a more compact 'local to Farlie' route involving keys, if needed
  13. better than mo-ped, which implies moustached pedos !!
  14. i was meaning the route, Baaaart. a couple of keys from landowners will add to the epicness
  15. is it the full 'kit and kaboodle' or the gentlemans scoot ?
  16. ok, or the 'stretch' the outside radius, opposed to 'shrink' the inner
  17. could be as simple as forming non-braided hose, whereby one 'scorches' the inside radius around a hot former........ same way coiled air-hoses are formed, and coiled shaver cords are done. thin-wall metal tube and a grunty electric paint stripper gun
  18. another stout option is A-series forkilft motor.... think they A13/15..... ?
  19. don't they use linear actuators to raise / lower ?
  20. there was a trap for event organiser's as to how the road was closed. one method gave TOTAL control to the named COC/Safety Officer etc, the other created headaches as to legalities legalities and control , if a challenge was enacted
  21. de-reged 'club' cars can compete on closed road events, but may not be driven past the 'Road=Closed' signs. a rally car, competing in a proper rally event needs to be REG/WOF for the entirety of the event due to the 'touring' stages which are normal legal open roads, as opposed to the 'special' stage, which is closed to the public and under the control of the COC/Event director. 'authority card' is a dispensation allowing certain modifcation 'logbook' is a record of events entered
  22. Class EB would throw a spanner in the mindset of the charming ignorant fool at Whaka Kartire. as far as i have been told, there are new requirements coming, to close some of the existing loopholes regarding TSLs/logbooks etc............ they created a can of worms when they down-rated vehicles , and allowed heavier weights for Class 1 drivers
  23. or is it due to utlising the rock-chucker (grass-blade ) as a counter weight?
