Hey guys,
Here's my 4-speed manual, 350 Chev, 1972 Corvette Stingray - it's had a full rotisserie restoration (put on a 'car spit' and fully restored all the way around) with matching numbers (engine and gearbox are original to the vehicle, i.e. haven't been replaced). It has only 79,000 miles on the chassis too, so that's pretty good for an older car!
So when I picked it up, it had 225/60/15s all-round - far too small for a Corvette! So first thing I did was drive it down to get some 295/50/15s on the rear and 245/50/15s on the front. Here are a few shots of popping in to Nana's to show her the new ride:
...and a couple of interior shots:
First lot of parts arrived - Flowtech headers, Edelbrock valve studs, Edelbrock valve covers & Edelbrock air cleaner:
Engine shots (before & after):
Before (but I'd polished it up a bit just for fun):
After:
I then took the car down to West Auckland Engine Reconditioners where I spent 'waaaaay' more than I was expecting to (list in next post!).
Cheers,
