  5. Some modifications are permitted, but they must always be LVV certified. The only modifications permitted are: 1. fitting a switch to render an airbag temporarily inoperable, and 2. the removal or permanent deactivation of an airbag in a vehicle that: is at least 14 years old, or has been adapted for a person with a disability, or has been extensively modified for motorsport use.

  10. Sometimes on VLs the bottom corner of the windscreen leaks water onto the ecu. Might be worth checking that the ecu isn't wet or rusty. You'll find it behind the passenger left kick panel.

  12. Does the van have a COF or WOF sticker? If it has a COF then you can go get a WOF and the guy issueing the wof will make it a private vehicle.

  16. To my knowledge blow off valves are fine. It is a bit hard to spot a chipped ecu tho.
