Anyone know of a suitable rack that might work ?
ESKIN8R
Electric seems to be the most common conversion in escorts,http://www.burtonpower.com/power-steering-conversion-kit-ford-escort-mk2-rhd-pske2r.html I think there are cheaper options than that tho

Looks like a problems. But it seems a few people use them. Ideally i want to fit a standard type power steering rack.

Can dial the knob to adjust the amount of assist. Or a bit of electrickery and a small circuit connected to the speedo and it adjusts as you speed up. The owner has instructed me he wants a lumpy cam to give it that lumpy idle. He would also like the engine dressed up a little, so a few shinny bits along with a centrally mounted air cleaner. (hence the 4 barrel idea) He would also like to keep it fuel injected. Simple instructions really but figuring out the best way to make it all work is another story. Mof
So it's going back to an escort front? For some reason I thought it was going to stay with the 323 front. Good

Holden Barina electric power steer. Make it fit and work somehow.
