flyingbrick
Nice car man. How did you find Chuck's pricing?
f100_dreamin
Cheers bro, Honestly as some one on the automotive trade and is used to getting trade pricing I found their prices fair and reasonable, the floor pans were 160+ ea, front urethane suspension bush kit 165+, rear urethane suspension bush kit 135+, wheel cylinders 25+ea, shocks were 110+ ea, brake hoses were 45/50+ea f/r (which is probably on the higher side) overall I thought they were fair prices considering they were their normal retail prices,

MRWEST
Nice work man, youll love driving her!  I didnt end up getting much stuff from chucks for my 64 as didnt have access to trade and retail was $$$ bought most of my parts in the states when the dollar was 80c+ but they seem to be reasonably priced now the dollar is a bit shit.  Let me know if you got any questions or not sure about something on them, 61-64 pretty much teh same and have pulled mine to a million and 1 pieces ha.  Enjoy it!
Seedy Al
those prices are legit  When I was looking over this, all I could keep thinking was, man, this needs a Silver heavy Flake roof over white and it would be bad ass.
Bangbug
Wonder what it'd look like with the tops of the doors/window frames done in black instead of white. The white/white makes the b-pillar look pretty large.Or even red....... just not white (visual weight n all)Photoshop if you post up a photo from the side? Â P.S: Love it and the plans.
f100_dreamin
Cheers everyone, Yeah like i said I thought the prices were good but I guess it all depends on the nzd/usd at the time Good to know I'm not hated for going down the standard lowrider path too haha

8ball
Love the concept But was so wishing you stick with the blue flame. Throw some tripples on it or efi even? But so much more original. As in not like the other million v8 chevs. Probably alot easier to wotk on too. Just sit in the engine bay. Lol.

f100_dreamin
Your a tool Thomas haha, have you bought that 57 yet? The reason behind the v8 is that I want to make this thing auto (so it's less work to drive) don't get me wrong the 3 speed manual isn't exactly hard but it's just another thing to have to think about when driving, and with this being primarily the missuses car I want her to have as little to think about while driving a wide left hand drive car, Plus getting an 8 to sound good is super easy, and parts are so much more readily available/cheaper
8ball
Throw in a nice solid cam and auto the 6.
kyteler
Nah. I love 6's but this deserves a dirty 8. Were it a forties or early fifties Chev then for sure, six would be great in the application. In this instance an 8 is definitely the go.
