I have been after this crown coupe bran find for over 3 years the guy finally let me buy it, it needs a fair bit of work as its just a rolling body at this stage. dereg and rusty eg sills and rear guards seams to be mostly there apart from motor and box. has been off the road since 89 19 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

horndog Posted May 9, 2016 Author Share Posted May 9, 2016 haven't posted on here in awhile so ive sold my rx7 s1 but ended up buying Nathans hc331 Gloria. back to the crown went to aa testing station after trying quite few place and no one being able to find the plate ever being on nz roads the aa found it . helpful guy there got they fourms sorted out and signed, helpful guy at the aa got my new vin tag made and ready for the crown 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

horndog Posted June 6, 2016 Author Share Posted June 6, 2016 still had the dirty lpg tank in the boot (the bomb) so went to open the vent to let the gas out ended up taking about an hr or so and it was still going ended up taking the gage of the tank was under quite some pressure still and it still took 10 minutes to empty it all out. id say the tank was close to being full and last time it was on the road was 1989 so been in there awhile 6 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

horndog Posted June 19, 2016 Author Share Posted June 19, 2016 did abit more to the ms51 today, back bumper off, petrol tank out, found some more body bolts , not sure if they really needed 7 on each side to hold it on haha . dash out and rest of the door cards and side windows about ready to lift the body off to take and start the rust repairs. found a ticket behide the dash from 13/09/89 the same year it last had wof/rego . for a fine of $12.25 for being a derelict vehicle up in Auckland 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
