HighLUX
Reading the motorsport BoP website im not sure if it needs to be road legal or just up to a legal standard to compete in clubsport events?
Truenotch
Clubsport events don't usually require a WOF but you'll probably need to get a motorsport NZ logbook (easy). Read schedule A on www.motorsport.org.nz for basic safety requirements. All you really need is a solid battery bracket, isolated positive terminal, good seat and belt (standard is fine), steering and brakes that work.

JoKer
might need some weight in the front to turn? would not get too enthusiastic on dieting

HighLUX
Lock the diff
thegreatestben
That is an option, If you are not familiar with the method, there is a way you can split these boxes open without removing fifth gear to gain access to the diff. I reckon it would only take 1/2 a day to have the box out welded up and then bang it back in. Should probably get it running first haha
Truenotch
Adding weight to the front is a bullshit fix. Driving them properly is a better method. They are about 60/40 Front/Rear and you'll get used to it eventually. If you're using it on dirt a locker or LSD will make it much more controllable.
