ToMitz
Have mostly been ordering parts and waiting for them to arrive recently. New pistons and valves on the way. Picked up new gasket set and rod and main bearings. sent cylinder head away to have combustion chamber welded up as current combustion chamber is in need of some loving.
ToMitz
Decided to polish up the inside of my block while waiting for parts. Promoting oil return to the sump never hurts.
ToMitz
Picked up the cylinder head from Royce Clive Engineering this morning, Big ups to the guy there for the great job they have done. Here is a comparison of combustion chambers before and after. Have filled in the weird little channel in front of the spark plug and built up the wall as much as possible to help with quench as well as increase compression.

ToMitz
Quick update, nothing photo worthy though sorry. Have been busy porting the head, it is currently ready to be bogged up. Have sorted out new springs, titanium retainers, machined spring seats and have got most of the fuel delivery system assembled. Purchased new clutch which has been sent along with flywheel to the machinist for balancing. Should hopefully have most of the engine, except for intake runners, ready for mock up by the end of next week.

Cylinders re-bored +0.5mm, Deck skimmed, pistons machined and everything balanced, cleaned up and assembled. Could not be happier with the Job completed by Glen at Glen Durie Engine re conditioners in Woolston.
