sheepers
is that rust in the roof the only bit????????????????????  it looks fairly bad to me but that long armed handsome fellow with the stupid haircut can probably fix that up for you.  anywho, make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go make it go
azzurro
Is that the only bit? Mwahahaha. Its no toyota son. Only serious bit is drivers floor but lots of little bits that have passed the patina stage. Will be dropping the sump today. If it looks ok and ol long arms pops around may try for a lazy crank later make it go 《sung to tune of Frozen》

azzurro
well Mr Grant came over and we faffed around for a bit - got plugs in & jerry can rigged and abattery on (yay dash lights up) but the starter is a dud. pulled the exhaust manifold off to get it out. solenoid is all jammed up and maybe the motor itself is pooped too, but it looks a lot like a 125 one just longer so fingers crossed for tomorrow maybe i can use a 125 solenoid at least. Before Chris popped round i get all the seats and carpet out, and most of the sound deadening, 3/4 floors are good, but drivers bit probably needs replacing the whole section to the seat brace. Shame there are no repair sections available but nothing some hammers and time cant sort out
yoeddynz
This is a cool wagon. The load space is fantastic especially with the drop down tailgate. Glad to see another rusty creature on oldschool at the same time as mine. Perhaps we can compare rust cuttings over coffee sometime.
Borgweiser
I'm in love with this wagon, considered the haul up country to rescue it myself.... Â I remember your parts car sitting on a lawn in Taita, Lower Hutt for many years. I know Mark from back in the day, I used to service his Lancia Thema. Then I ended up owning it.... He's got the bug baaaad.
azzurro
hell yes he does! dont know how much he is spending on the sedan hes getting restored at Butlers but it wont be cheap! Â He has some cool stuff in his lock up too, inlcuding a room stuffed with NOS bits hes been collecting, most of which hes going to put on the sedan i think. Â Did lol at him wanting to keep this blue beast 'just in case' so he didnt have to take bits off his 'good' parts car. Â Really nice guy, even gave me a drive in his Wagon

azzurro
Fanx Chaps, it is a good looking thing I reckon. Â Good job too because I think its going to be quite a bit more of a mission than I had initially expected, so looking not-bad even when in bits is a pre-rec to spending a fuck ton of time digging rust out of its ugly bits. Â Speaking of which, I had a day off yesterday and made quite a bit of progress on the next section, so updates later.
63Ragtop
Great progress mate, love the gif style pics, so many layers of rust, it's almost like someone designed it trap as much damp muck as possible eh?? Â edit: also your "Discussione" link goes to the build page, I'z waz very confusted.
0R10N
Here are some pictars from when Tomas Misa decided he would not buy such a thing. Â https://www.flickr.com/photos/turbo16vdohc/albums/72157622800117958
azzurro
Ragtop, yes, the people ive talked to who have them are amazed at how they have almost been specifically designed to catch and hold moisture and muck in the most silly spots, usually in direct line of fire of the wheels. As far as possible im attempting to rectify the design when i cut stuff out, or at least apply some paint!  Eduardo, yeah, check out that sucker Tom, bet ol' Misa is kicking himself he didnt pick this bad boy up now aye!  just needs, um EVERYTHING
0R10N
The vermin prints in the dust were the most loltastic part  Keen for Horopito mish if you and Chrison8 head down, I feel like a mental health day off work to come help pull apart old rusty cars would be beneficial!
azzurro
me too, may have found a parts wagon a bit closer (and better) to cut up in the comfort of my own lawn - just need to make an offer on it - will do that now.
