10Speed
at a guess it was disabled when the car was converted from 6v to 12v... I wouldn't worry about it myself, just let it warm up for a minute or so on cold mornings....

64valiant
now do you guys recommend me to pay 480 including gst to get my king pins replaced or buy a set for 70 that comes with everything and do them myself with some guidance of other mechanically minded mates? 10Speed
it's a job I've always paid someone to do, mainly because I don't have an adjustable reamer and access to a decent press The king pin bushes need to be reamed to the exact diameter of the king pin. To do this you will need an adjustable parallel reamer and guide, with a range between 18 and 21 mm diameter. The tapered guide acts as a bush and is located in the opposite bush to the one being reamed. Ream the bushes a little at a time, making very small adjustments to the reamer, until the king pin can be fitted to the bushes with no detectable play. Heh, I can supply you with most of those things: - Choice of engines - Probably got a few unused hats lying around that I can flatten out - I sell cans of matt black spray-on vinyl, and I can get mirror tint vinyl I don't have any modgies, but I've got the next most popular wheels for rotaries (17" Lensos). azzurro
lol 3 corners with play and the other with a leak. keep it up bud, these crappy mass produced shitboxes are worth it for some wierd reason all the ones i had were super reliable apart from running out of gas all the time, pretty surprising in retrospect!
