Goldie the CB100

Flauski

Recommended Posts

Bought this a while ago, early 70's CB100 big block four stroker.

Runs mint.

Rebuild fairly close to factory spec - coming soon.

Have some really tidy CB100 bits that I will be exchanging onto this bike as well as some new bits and pieces.

My intention is to sell it once done but I have a feeling it may be hard to let go.

The tank really tickles my pickle.

Yeah that one on tardme is pretty fine alright

I have a few of these small Hondas inc 125s and CB50s.

Also stripped another tank I have that was primer grey. I was gutted to see the paint underneath but then happy to find the tank itself pretty much immaculate, no dents, tiny tiny spots of rust.

Got something special planned for this tank.

Once this bike is gone I have a 125 frame to do some work to.

Still a one kick no choke kind of bike (my foot slipped first time)

Replaced steering head bearings
New swing arm bushes
new foot rubbers and rear pegs

Just need to sort out an exhaust copper gasket and find another speedo as rear cable entry is broken :(
looks like this;

waiting on seat to be recovered too.

Then finish puting bits back on like chain etc.
