Practicality of the whole thing id go with tints. Merging lanes, pulling out of awkward exits etc are difficult when you cant see past your shoulder, especially if its going to be used daily

this x 2

plain panel with no windows does look cool, but not practical, unless you have big side mirrors. also i think if its got windows there already, might look odd with them vinyled over

My work van has no rear side windows and it's not a massive issue as far as visibility goes, although it does have massive mirrors which make changing lanes and reversing etc much easier... The only thing that really sucks well to me anyway about no side windows is backing out of driveways is sketchy so I always back in first now.. In the end no different than if the back is stacked up to the roof with gear anyway..

I agree, these look way better with no side windows, but it's quite a big job welding them up right?

Had a quote for the front window in and out plus a new floor plan. We also talked about the windows being removed with a quick spary to tidy she seems to thing about a days work to do both sides . I think the signage will look so much better where the windows are now. Then I'm going to tint the back windows and the front doors. I drive around Auckland most days it's like a big game of luck fill of bad drivers that dont ever give way. For one year I couldnt get anyone to give the Alfa a nudge they all moved for it go figure

How about that semi see through vinyl with the 100's of pin holes in it?

Thought of this but I will still have the lovely rubbers to look at . And I have a pretty clear vision of how I want it to look like but weather it turns out like I want will be another story .

Man you never see rear windows on those! (well I don't)
Keep em, keeeeeeeep em!

Just a nice door logo would be awesome and anything else I'd say would be pinstriping :)

The van will do the work for drawing attention so keep her pretty clean.

If you don't get satisfaction from your local, PM me and I'll help you out. Sorry for the self plug.

Well if it's only around a days work I'd deff be keen if it was me, your right the signage will look waaaay better where the windows are now.. Then all you need to do is a wee bit of slam and it'll be the perfect work vehicle!

The wee bit of slam is already under way I have 2inch blocks for the rear and 2 inch lowered springs for the front and keep the rattie look is the plan

If panelling the windows is on the cards then thats the way to go. Nick's right, if the vans going to be stacked sky high with gear then the windows/vision are of no use. I recently removed my side windows and welded up the panels. Depends how you go about it but it can be a big job

I have been reading your work looks very nice. When I move cakes etc around in it I dont really want the sun shining on them as well . At the end of the day It has a job to do .

Will keep you in mind . I'm keen to see what my sign writer comes up with for it we gave him guide lines of where and what we wanted. Vans in general on the day to day roads are very few and far between.

I asked my signwriter dude about vinyl on the side windows on mine, wanted perforated vinyl in gold, to match the body colour. Turns out it is only available in white, which would suit yours! Looks good even with signwriting over the top of it, and cuts out most light. I don't think it looks as good as panelled over, as you say you will still see the rubbers, but way quicker and cheaper.
