Gaz
Powdercoating done. Think I either forgot to send in one engine bay shield or they didn't return it. Prob better check. Got more stuff to coat at a later date so no real major. I'm not 100% sure its the best way to combat rusty underbody parts but time will tell. Gaz
Got a S5 alt with twin belt pulley. Pulled it apart today so I can have it powder coated but might aswell rebuild same time. Needed smaller int reg alt to side mount so it doesn't get in way of sidedraft air flow... (in theory?) Also have def lost the other engine bay cowl panel. Have asked powder coater to keep an eye out for it but I cant 100% member if I gave it to him or not! Gaz

Gaz
Had a wee bit of a setback with the paint job.... i.e I picked it up on Sunday and it had absolutely nothing done. Been a bit of an ongoing saga over the last few months which I wont go into detail on here but cars back at mine now. Cheers Russ, Hayholeymo, Blinky, Dunchole for the lift Sunday So over the last 3 evenings I've managed to strip back the easy parts of the engine bay, weld up couple dozen engine bay holes, remove a bunch of brackets, and weld in a patch over a larger hole. Also got diff sussed and talked to Mr Bateman re wheels. So major setback but at least we have progress again. Gaz

Gaz
Car rotisserie makes things so much easier... but stripping under seal still sucks!
Gaz
195 45 14 Toyo T1rs on 14x7s. Look good. Also dummied up front brake conversion and wilwoods. Looks good. Need 15mm spacer/adaptor to work which I knew so hopefully wheels fit in guards still. Anyone want to potentially swap a pair of 14x6.5 SSR starsharks for a set of 14x5.5 or maybe 6. I need a diff offset to the 6.5s I have. Gaz
