felixx
So after removing the rear frame I made the number plate into a mudguard by rotating it 90degrees and bolting it to the rear guaRD bracket and the bolt hole where the bracket fixed on. I need a more discreet tail light though' I also tried to get the kickstart to have more than 90 deg rotation and fucked up putting her back together One shim in the wrong place created lots of dramas All good now! felixx
Query? I notice that when I shut down the scooter it drips 2 or 3 drops of fuel from the crank onto the exhaust. Im guessing its coming from the crank case. Is this likely? 1) Is it worth tearing it down to replace a seal 2) Should I just clean the outside down with degreaser, loosen the nuts and add a dollop of liquid gasket in there 3) Leave it? Cheers

felixx
Um so I helped my neighbour's son get an Fa thru a member here. I have helped him with a few things including an airbox made out of some 1" aluminium tube (whitebait net handle) and a coffee can. Im finding my usual suppliers of scooter plates are gone! If anyone has live fa50 plates for sale? I can get some live ones but the bike will not pass the inspection with no indicators etc I will post pics of my airbox as it goes well if you want.
