flyingbrick
Just use a pencil blow torch or grunty soldering iron to heat little loctited screws to enable removal easy
Goat
I ended up using blue locktite. SHould i pinch the exposed thread with some pliers for extra safety? I should have just done what chris said, pull out dem chokes, as i never use them anyway. Hah Chair for all the opinions!
Goat
Got some sweet grips from dime city. Needed a bit of modding to fit the bar ends. Had awesome eagle on them. I'm not really worthy of that manlyness so i had to cut them off... Tested fit on my clipons. Look smick. Shiny cap screws from Costal Fastenings in wellington. 20bux all up. I pulled down and reassembled the carbs. Replacing EVERY screw with stainless cap scre, including all the internal ones that hold the slides etc. All new seals, jets and needles too. These should be good to go... Some mech in the stacks to stop the big bits. Yummy undersides:

Goat
Had a weekend with my sheet metal and welder. Got cracking cutting and welding. Man my hands are sore after snipping through all that sheet metal.... Anyway, some pics.. Tracing templates onto sheet metal. (This is another design i made up last week. As the one pictured earlier in this thread wasnt looking like what i wanted. Folded up base pan. Folded this over my leg... Cut out dem sides: Mockups: Weld weld All tacked up. Looking good. Put on bike, i think the base looked high: I like the side profile, was umming and arring about the height of seat base for a bit. Made this to hold all the electrics. This will sit in under the seat. Used the mount points alreade there where the battery box andfilter housing are sitting (now binned). Not missing corner as it only had mounts on one side and a tabe to support it on the other. Fits like a boss, and will be sweet to hold all the required bits out of sight: After cutting the seat base shorter i think it looks alot better. Also cleaned up all the welding etc Also made up mount to drop the clocks. (Theyre about 110mm lower than stock... Have also been toying with the idea of lowering it a bit. THis is where it would sit with 11" shocks. Reckon i should do this? or just keep it at the stock height (in earlier pics) Next weekend i should finish the seat and then move all this stuff to the running cb (in wellington). Its great having parts bikes for mockups. So Ken for nats!

Guest Goat
Update! I have been busy. Rebuilt front shocks with new seals. Need to slam it at the front some more. Put carbs on. Put new rear shocks on. Hid all electrics. Dropped the clocks. Dropped the headlight. Put on my clipons. Put on cb350 tank. This involved major surgery to get to fit. Still need to do a bit of modding. But its about 80% complete. Todo: Solder up idiot lights and make a bracket for them (LEDs) Finish adapting cb350 tank Balance carbs. Add a brake light Mount number plate Mount muffler New brake hoses Drill Disk Rear indicators Paint seat to match tank. haggard spec Get seat apholstered Burnouts ANyway, Pics: Before: After: So yea, not much to do. Roll on nats!

Guest Bullitt
Looks great Joe. Maybe I've missed it but other than the mesh in the ram tubes is there anything to stop everything being thrown off the back wheel ending up in the engine. I just know how filthy that area ends up on my much more standard bikes.
