rotorhoe
Neat can't wait to see! Will 175/50s be big enough for hotwires?
Gaz
On the contrary, will 175/50's be small enough
LingLing
Good on you for getting your licence. Your brother is really trying hard to find parts for you. You are very lucky to have your brother and mechanic dad. Did he check yahoo japan?. so here it is while I was looking for my 86 parts, I don't know what exact model you after. 1nz =62 yen roughly. Use Google Chrome to translate. http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h160738582 really really cheap. or new ones? http://page21.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/a ... j163051687 side ones? http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d127521389 Ask few guys here to give you idea for shipping if interested. Really cheap for small size parts.
rotorhoe
Its always handy having a family who know what needs doing thats for sure. Karl bought the indicator lenses today from trademe I think, there are suddenly quite a lot of 808 parts on there so we might actually have made some progress! Pretty sure indicator lenses were what we were waiting on, now its just the extras like badges which are uber expensive
LingLing
Yeh, that's good news. I wouldn't be worried about all the extras for now, look them up in long term for cheap or good ones. Get the car trolling around auckland is the main Goal
rotorhoe
Getting it going is priority over the other cars now so its looking good for the 3! Good things take time man, gotta make sure its all done properly first
yoeddynz
Is this the badge you need? http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-par ... 675638.htm
BDA780
Thanks yoeddynz I bought it. Learnt a good lesson today. Never own a RX3... $45 Guard Badge + $7 postage and $28 for a single front indicator lense. Nevermind, the parts are needed otherwise it'd look half done. LingLing
Karl mate, old school rotary parts cost lot more than other cars, even in japan, the price you paid is still cheap!
danger
I can sus stuff cheap. Send me a list if you like and I'll see if its available
rotorhoe
Yeah agreed, I thought the price was actually pretty darn good for the quality of it. Cheers neo will let you know when done Thanks danger, if its possible could you see if there are front side indicator bulb holders around and we also need front windscreen chrome joiner piece. Thats pretty much everything except for bullet wing-mirrors and ariel which we can get online
LingLing
Just curiousity, when you took the car apart did you lose some of the bits? or it didn't have them in the first place?
