Poo
Just gonna post this here for future reference.http://vincentcrabtree.co.uk/ExpansionC ... igner.aspx Exhaust open duration, Measure how many degrees the port is open/piston not blocking it for??? anyone? leave the motor standard for now. make the frame and sort out the basics first. those motors are awesome from standard. but it you have to...... to measure the exhaust duation, get a timing wheel (or just print one out and stick it to some cardboard). then attach it to the flywheel. take the exhaust of and turn the motor and mearsure how many degrees the exhaust is open for. i wouldnt change or port the motor. you can lose alot of torque and bottom end power if you cock it up. this will be made worse but the fact that you motor has no gear box (yet????) if you are up for a challenge chop up a scooter trans that is running CVT. EURON8
Use the saw to chop up the bike you plan to use first. Video coming when i figure out where my phone cable is. Camera was flat and file to big to send off phone. Dont laugh, bogged down a bit but this was its 2nd run in years. first was me the day before giving it full throttle then shutting down. Yes, i hit the tire when saw jammed but didnt cut through it haha

Chickity
I enjoy your very bogan dress code We do live in west auckland, and there isn't too much more bogan than an astro-turf path to your sleepout, which I'm pretty sure is the NZ version of a trailer... EURON8
right so dodgy and kicker inspired me to do something. That and i got sidetracked making shelves in garage and ended up using the wood to make a jig to keep the frame straight - ish Bike as it started out Then I stripped down the saw to just the motor. It was kinda like the britten bike, with tank/handle/blade/etc mountings all cast to crankcase housing. Have cut off a few of the mounts already. Laid the bike parts out with a bit of steel and a quick hori edit on photoshop. Frame will probably work nothing like this once im done to be honest. As im going for a high speed beach racer as the main aim, i opted for a tad extra ground clearance in case of soft sand run ins. Dont know if ill keep that much height tbh. DodgySam
wow...a jig you say...everything on mine is "about that" long and "looks straight" tolerances. You and your flash measuring shit. Too flash to be a badger.
EURON8
Let me i explain my jig. One fence pailing Two 3x2 Some screws Screw 3x2 to pailing with there abouts space inbetween. Let some pressure out of tires and squish them into space.
