Valiant
Have a look on T/M for a heater box. AP5-VC are the same basic car with just a little box and controlls. I have most of one in the garrage if you want some parts. This guy looks like he might have one. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 424199.htm
RUNAMUCK
The AP5 had a different heater to the 6/c/e/f/g's. The hard part would be tracking down the VC heater controls. IMO, the VCs had the better heater controls than the earlier cars. They have three knobs to match the cigi lighter. One controls the fan, one controls the heat/demist, and one operates the the heater valve. Pretty much no val has a working oriinal heater valve. Best bet is to fit a ball valve under the dash, and just have sumer and winter settings.

felixx
re the heater. There are often 12v Narca heaters on trademe for 40 - 50 bux. They were put in heaps of cars in the 60s and 70s
felixx
I just brought one of those narca heaters for the motor, which is a different size to the one in my car so is no good to me. Heater runs, appears to be no leaks in the core Yours for $40 plus freight..
