My name is Russell
Man it's no fun getting those stock ECUs going. Gaa really. Might be easier to start from scratch you reckon? Was hoping this chap Hamish could sort it out for me, reckons he has done a few. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=664141368 Least you can get plug in Links for these things? or easier to just put a clean ECU box in. Spencer
I mean they work but its abit gayer than the earlier beams. Also you are most likely missing the plugs from the body loom, wreckers often leave this one out.
Spencer
I'd strip the loom and wire in a link personally, especially if you are going to pay someone to wire the stocker? How much will that cost? Just weigh up what each will cost you and figure what suits you I guess.
Testament
looks like its from a tsunami car maybe with that mud in the ecu? I was wondering when these would start turbing up/probably 1000's driving around nz already
My name is Russell
He reckoned $260 to strip the wires down and return with few wires to connect up but must require allot of relays and stuff added in I presume, which is what makes me think a fair bit could be missing from required loom. Like you say will see how it adds up.
Spencer
All the wiring shit is here, can give it a crack/set it on fire yourself? http://bitcrusher.org/3S-GE_Wiring_Diagram.pdf That dirt ridden ecu doesn't look promising haha. M_C
Interested in why the switch from FE3 to 3SGE? How did SR20 rate in your considerations? I am busy dreaming of new engine and both are candidates. You may be able to buy link tune off Mark from his 3sge beams? Not sure how this works. Truenotch
I'll give you my tune as a base map Chris. Get a Link G4 Storm and wire in all the basics - mine was done in one night, Dan's Corona loom is a million times more work.
eke_zetec_RWD
Yea go link g4. Easy as fuck to wire in and get running. Not guess work either if there's a problem as it's so easy to diagnose
