Last time out at Hamptons resulted in an unrepairable crack in head (Water jacket to oil gallery behind Cylinder 4 - fark!..) Decision time. Source another second hand head, spend $$$ on crack testing, machining for big valves, porting etc just for it to happen again being 40+ years old or bite the bullet a get one of these from Burtons Still heaps of $$$ to spend on machining but .... Any thoughts people?

Kinda hoping that LVVTA will have a change of heart (heard some whispers about case by case basis) but I'm not holding my breath. Not to worried about making it road legal yet as the mustang is a bit more family friendly... By the way, your Mk1 looks awesome - get it finished!

Can't get my car certified for this reason. Spoken to Clint and Mark about it and LVVTA are adamant it's a no go even if completed by certified welders. Been involved with circuit/rally escorts for years and I've never seen a stub fail
