  1. Replaced the front wheel bearings, and it's now all road legal and still owes me sub a thousand. Now the boring bits over time for some fun. Also took it back to the old owner and he said he still has its original black plates and will dig them out so I'll hopefully get them back on the car
  2. I didn't plan on doing a thread so photos so far are lacking, I will sort that for future posts. Here's some photos from when we went out driving in it
  3. So I've actully owned this for just over a week. So far I've cut out the small bits of rust and repaired them. It was actually really solid. post repair photos I then wanted to get it running,I had to replace the fuel pump and also did points, condenser and plugs and she ran and drove like a dream. Everything electrical works mint even the interior light which I think is a first for me. Now the cars back up in the air waiting on front wheel bearings, then time for a warrent.
  4. @Chris.QCRSlam will take some out of the box thinking because of the transverse leaf spring front suspension allows very little lowering. And @OR1ON under 20hp and a claimed top speed under 90kph I'll probley keep it as an around town driver lol
  5. Build thread here tell me how to make it cool, or talk shit about it I don't mind
  6. Well it's been a long time since iv posted on here. Anyway here's my new bambina this one will actually make it to the road. Talk shit here these arnt exactly my favourite cars but for $500 with rego on hold I was never going to say no. Here's some photos I don't really have any plan yet except to get it a warrent This is where I found it, had been sitting for quite a few years so naturally talked to the owner.... a couple more from when I got it back home
  7. I like this, I'd vote for the spitfire square tho

  9. This made the Australian Street machine website and a few magazines, here is the feature http://www.streetmachine.com.au/features/1602/crazy-bike-engined-fiat-bambina-ratter/
  10. So I got this beast done in time, Got to the show thursday arvo after replacing the rectifyer which drained the battery. I had a trouble free weekend except for a snapped spring that I welded back together, drove it pretty much all night and had it on show all day from thursday to sunday. It was well recived I took alot of random people for rides and it seemed to have the biggest crowds looking at it, oh and after a couple drinks it found alot of limiter. I had an interview with a magazie and got stopped while cruiseing for photos with streetmachine and a couple others so hopefully with get some sweet magazine photos and didnt quite win anything but got a consilation prize during prize giving for best contraption and the organiser wanted to give me best motorbike but wasnt allowed haha people enjoyed the terribly bumpy ride Racing against a motorbike powered golf cart Bambi fell in love with an Italian hunk

  14. This is now running and has brakes, Just took it for a drive and it broke the chain idler which which destroyed the chain. the neighbours enjoyed watching me push it home as they had come out to see what was going on because it was so loud driving down the street. any way some updates I have more but will update after the fact Also its got enough power to get up to the speed limit which is pretty sweet for the 250. Rear light off a push bike that looks pretty sweet i real life, potato photo makes it look lame My master cylinder off a suzuki car and amp to run some house speakers Start of adapting a car disk to a 40mm axle making cortinas look big since ages ago Look at that rear fitment
