  2. gas-shielded flux-cored wires. https://www.thefabricator.com/thewelder/article/consumables/all-about-gas-shielded-flux-cored-arc-welding-wires
  3. in new zealand it always needs to be licenced/rego paid to be on the road at 40 years it becomes "classic". this means a slight change to "continuous licencing" in that it takes a little longer for it to be come deregistered if you forget to put it on hold
  4. The black ones look better I think the key is low rpm, and Bic pen valve springs
  5. Silver solder if you are tour du frogs. THINK ABOUT THE GRAMS
  6. If rego is still live you can just get a replacement plate Tick the box where it says handing 0 plates in, and reason - lost Was about 20bucks last time I got one
  7. Try adding some adblue to your fuel tank And then when insurance writes the car off, get something not french
  8. Yeah, is it on the high or low pressure side? They are are real tight press fit It otherwise looks the same to me. But idk

  12. I'd imagine you would do a full under tray for hyper mileing I want to do one fory nissan (and catching drips)
  13. Old rubber lines swell up inside and act like a 1 way valve. I had this on the rear line on thr morrie, was letting the rears stuck on
  14. Mine had a vin plate on it so I was able to prove it had been on the road before and it was just a standard revin/rerego A nz vin plate isn't needed, just the frame number can be used, they will probably fix a vinplate to it at the inspection BUT If yours was never on the road you might have some issues, you may be able to get a letter from Suzuki stating that that model was road legal, and get it legal that way. Some guys on here have done similar with old hondas I think. You may also have to prove where the bike came from I.e a list of which frame numbers were imported into nz from suzuki, and that might be a hard one Mine was actually registered previously in Japan and imported a few years later, there's only about 5 registered ones that I recall seeing in the data from ltsa, so they may have all been imported used (there's also a couple of sp200 in nz, they were the official road legal version, they have red plastics)
  15. Drive it everyday because it only. Takes 35mph to outrun your troubles Funniest part of driving the commer was taking 1.5 light cycles to get across the terapa rd traffic lights, even with a running start
  16. Yeah that's where I got mine. Better than an old pot lid for sure
  17. Oh another thing I picked up from one of thesw videos was finding the point in the oil can that needs addressing. Using both hands you go around the area that pops in and out. At some point you will be able to press down on one spot and the rest won't want to pop any more
  18. Can you get fine tip for lpg? For me at least an oxy act rig is a bit much admin Also, practice on something else first. My ute was evidently the apprentice practice rig when it was built by the workshop judging from, well everything.... The roof had been shrunk with a torch, but they fucked it up, lost most of the crown, ended up just pushing it in and carving a new one out of bog A disk is certainly fairly amateur friendly, it doesn't shrink too much in one go sort of thing This was a good video
  19. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322311293881 Gwan get some mitsi parts Probably available used as they are the only part that won't rust off
  20. I have a set of shrinking disks, they are gold, did my rooted cab roof with them and got it near perfect. A guide coat, then zing with the disk till you see the high bits. Spray with water in a spray bottle. Hammer up low spots. Repeat
