Got a few things sorted for this. Been wanting to do this for a while. Radiator set up looks like this. The hot air just goes straight into the cabin. Got some cardboard out to do some cad. I got some 2mm alloy off @Rhyscar and cut these up and went to ttt automotive and use his bender to use put some shapes in it. I also used @Archetypes trailer to bend it into shape. And finalise the curvs. And I went and spent a bunch of money. Brought a genuine weber brand new.

She's going. Got some small things to change bit the gist of it all. Rivited the glass floor to the extension I added. She's pretty solid set up.

Adding a floor to this bad boy so I can kinda stand anywhere I need to. Will also help creating my walls and seat on the inside. Now to weld them to the chassis. I also need some smaller tyres for the back. The rub quite a bit.

Right. Beach hop is close so I thought I better make a start. Remember that little go-kart Beth wasnt overly happy about me acquiring. Well it fits unbelievably well. Wheel base is 1meter long. Bang smack in the middle of the wheel arches. It's like it was made to fit. The only problem was with the front the steering hit the front part of the glass and the total width is a bit to wide. So I've trimmed the wheel arches as much as possible with retaining the max arch there for looks. And I also cut the front section out for wheels turning and the steering components. @Archetype has made up a sticker kit for the windows and lights ect ect so I'll mount this body and get it sorted and then kit it out for upholstery. I'm going to add some wings to the main chassis for strength when you step in and also add some stability to the structure itself. This is going to be cool.

man i cant wait to see this truck complete. cant wait to see what you do with the upholstery side of things. let alone finishing the truck. shit is insainly great! keen on a visit on my way to chch nats.

i think it was about half way through she was like "that'll do greg" haha nope i just kept going. the one and only time im so called aloud to do a skid im going to make sure its a big one and the amount of smoke was bloody good to. came out bloody great.

Ah I done some sun visors yesterday. But didn't get a chance to post them. They did look like this. And with the new headlining material they looked like ass. A lot better. Now to do this wedding thing.

More last minute wedding prep stuff. Put the stainless trim back on with out wrecking it. I had pulled this off when I painted the roof also. Just never got around to putting it back on what not. Lazy or didn't want to wreck it but done it in like 5 mins including taking photos. Shit was all twisted from been removed and I really didn't want to wreck it putting it back on that's for sure. Picture of it off and just white. Picture with it on and small dog for scale.... Now to get the sun visors done so I have some thing for the ribbon to attach to.

So a few years back you would remember me stripping the roof to fix the rust and paint it so she looks all fresh. Well while I done that I ripped the headlining out as I would put a new one in it. Few days later the windows went back in and its done two or three weddings since. No headlining and looking a tad rough.... So while on my stag do last Saturday I was a tad drunk and everyone was around so whop whop out comes the front and rear windows. @Evan was rather shocked our how easy they came out. Fast forward to today realising I had booked the car to get the windows installed tomorrow. Goes something like this. Bare roof. No underlay or sound deadening Chucked some underfelt up on the roof. Makes it less tinny and no droning noises. Chuck the headlining in after a small battle. Waved my magic wond and *Boom* headlining done.... Slightly fucked up the hole for the light location but yeah I fixed that so no need to tell more.... And this is where I am now. And now the windows get installed in 8 hours. I brought some brake lines for the front and need to get some oil and a filter give it a bit of a birthday.

man are you using this as the wedding car? or the going away car?
