Yeah weekend was epic (i had really low expectations and was proved wrong) As for the Police, Sure they were busy as fuck, didn't have to go far to see some poor dude gettin a talk. but it seemed to me that if you were actually entered for the weekend and didnt do anything to draw attention to yourself you pretty much got left alone. So if you were the dude with no entrants sticker 9 peeps in the car and were running open headers whilst deciding to do a skid in front of 30 cops, pay the price. we had two cars there that were no way near legal, got to cruise the runs and drive around a bit, got followed by cops a plenty and didn't have a problem, They checked out our cars at the start of one of the runs (even got the note books out), Im sure that there were plenty of stories which oppose my point of view but this is what i saw, (fuck there were some cops for sure... never seen so many). I love open headers and skids but the beach hop is not the place for this as it once was, times have changed. Awesome to meet up with the ol school guys there, Mr West you are truly a fine gentleman and you car is nothing short of spectacular! a credit to you, Tried to catch up with Nominal over the weekend but missed and to whoever was driving the purple land crab.... big thumbs up you was looking cool. And as per usual the great to see the Adams family in their wagon. CHUR!

Be there tomorrow, already have two tyres to fix and I haven't left home, will be at tyre shop at 8 fix em up and head off, slow trip with the trailer, if ya see me say hi, keen to meet OS peeps, I'm the Ol guy with the grey car.

Okay, accommodation is looking like it might fall over, anyone got some lawn I could possibly chuck a tent on? Me and my daughter, committed all my money to gas, so can't really afford to be spending big bucks on a place to stay thanks a heap.

Planning to leave Dannevegas on Thursday morning come back Sunday arvo, maybe Monday, non legal car will be on trailer behind trusty steed. apparently have accommodation sorted. decision to drive said non legal will be made on the day.

although speeding around gravel is down the list of to do's for me, i rekon an OS fan club could be in order.
