  1. Picture Rich Update!! So my amazing wife gave me these on our wedding day, Gang vest and Lada decorations Big one is a Soviet Officers Parade Badge The dangling one is a Soviet 25th anniversary of Victory WW2 And the little one is Lenin related. You may have seen the parts the Eddie tracked down for VG (then me) Well they showed up Today!! Period correct(ish) front and rear plates and backing plates BRAND NEW! Rear boot badge! - To replace the broken and boring english one currently one there. A couple of club stickers The double layer one is Низкие Машины (Google translate says : Low Machines) The other is FYSM Fuck Yeah Slammed Metal - Add a .com to the end for a blog/forum - needs login to view forum though by the looks Couple more badges - Again im not sure what these are. Last week i got a PM for Eddie containing an Illustrator Doc. Sent it off to my friendly signwriter and good mate Marty, That arvo i popped round and he chucked it on. Huge thanks to Eddie (Yaroslav) for sending me this stuff. Now if only Western Union was this easy to deal with. Passport and a personal visit to a branch will be required to pay him. Online didnt like a first time user sending money to Eastern Europe and an expired Drivers Licence didn't help when talking to some Americans on the phone :) . Have a couple more things coming from offshore for her, but that's another post for another month.

  2. brake parts in, choke in, yay no more catching lifts to work! also put 2" blocks in rear and removed 1" from upper spring perch up front. passenger spring is juuuuust uncaptive, by about 3mm and drivers is captive. haha

  3. Ok so the last spot I started trying to sort out was giving me the shits, waaay beyond my ability/amount of fucks available, so nothing got done for a month. Gonna try somewhere else for a while. Bought some shit saw horses, took off this brown metal(ish) thing. Did stuff to it, found holes, with bog in them. Did more stuff, could be worse? Cut stuff out of here. And some more off there. Then pretended like I knew what I was doing. Maybe tomorrow I'll do some more, maybe I'll sleep till 2pm instead.

  4. This aluminum exhaust isn't going to plan. sounds ok out the back, but is raspy and noisy as a shit in the car. Its pretty much the same as the stainless system, muffler and design wise. Seems most of the noise is coming from the section between the extractors and first muffler. some kind of harmonics going on. At the moment i've chopped it off just before the first muffler. Will put the old stainless section back in here tomorrow. so the first ali part will be straight into a muffler. If this doesn't work the whole lot is going on the wall of shame. More of the broken stuff. cheap clutch. served much abuse. happy i checked this before it flew to bits! can see the cracks and missing bits if you look closely Oh and chucked the fins on one side, to see what it looks like.

  5. Chamberlains did mine. Was darer than expected but I tried 3 other places and they either couldn't get car on the machine, machine on the tyres because I was tucking or they plain didn't know how to do older stuff. I chewed out skinny wheels chronic but had alignment n have not had any noticeable wear on my eagers and I drive it all the time

  15. Happy to offer a ride to ppls. Could pickup you hamilton goons if you want. It all depends on what time you guys are flying in and when we are meeting up in chch etc. Might be a good idea for everyone to post the time their flight lands?

  17. Progress on this is temporarily suspended as I have got myself a new toy to play with. Scored this for free off a relative. Bit of work and it seems to be running like a charm. Went down and got new plates for it today. After taking it for a ride I was amazed at how much power there was for a 50cc engine, after some investigation turns out it actually has an 80cc engine. Hopefully no-one ever looks closely enough at it for it to be an issue, engines look identical. Plans are to get this tuned up and running nicely and keep fairly stock while I work on making the ma50 wild, then once thats running turn my attention back to this. Might be tempted to repaint the tank and acquire some sweet drag bars and a nicer seat for it in the mean time, will see how things go.

  18. doors aligned and the front guards are back on for the final time (i hope). i had to paint the little tags that clamp the guards to the bottom of the A pillar because i forgot about it. the bonnet is just sitting there to see if the gaps look right between the front guards and the bonnet and it looks pretty good. Untitled by sheepers-ra28, on Flickr Untitled by sheepers-ra28, on Flickr still plenty to do yet. sheepers.

  20. I was getting ready for a long time and finally I can make this post. It is dedicated entirely to rare spare parts and honors over the years. In 2103 there were 3 of so-called series. The first is the rarest and the smallest (all were released 7500) 72 to 73 years. The main difference between them is the front panel of the slots under the air ducts. The second generation were produced from 73 to 74 years. The main difference was the front panel with a plurality of slots, so-called float Finally, the most common model, the so-called third series. Model year 1975-1984. The main feature - two big "nose" There is another very rare item that I've seen a few times. It is native to the muffler in 2103. It has a rectangular tip. Early-type tachometer. 1972. Chrome grille on the rear side of the rack. They were set up in 1976 Sidelights production factory "Red October"
