  1. This aluminum exhaust isn't going to plan. sounds ok out the back, but is raspy and noisy as a shit in the car. Its pretty much the same as the stainless system, muffler and design wise. Seems most of the noise is coming from the section between the extractors and first muffler. some kind of harmonics going on. At the moment i've chopped it off just before the first muffler. Will put the old stainless section back in here tomorrow. so the first ali part will be straight into a muffler. If this doesn't work the whole lot is going on the wall of shame. More of the broken stuff. cheap clutch. served much abuse. happy i checked this before it flew to bits! can see the cracks and missing bits if you look closely Oh and chucked the fins on one side, to see what it looks like.

  2. Staying 16. Deal with it. Fingers crossed i have my new daily in a couple of days, so still been driving this to work. Got a flat tire the other day so decided to try on my SSR Mesh wheels ive had for a while. Quite like them but not too sold on the gold. Maybe a silver or dark grey.

  7. Happy to offer a ride to ppls. Could pickup you hamilton goons if you want. It all depends on what time you guys are flying in and when we are meeting up in chch etc. Might be a good idea for everyone to post the time their flight lands?

  11. I could look into getting the head crack tested. But the bores on the cylinders require a hone and engine will need new rings. Number 5 and 6 are very clean, also rust track from the water gallery to the cylinder so i see where the HG was blown. Head looks in pretty good nick, be it the oil smells burnt as hell (and i did regular oil changes in it) 2JZ time? Maybe carb jz motor? Get a holley 570 and make a crazy side feed manifold?

  15. So I've come to the part where i need to run in my fresh motor but i don't have a wof and thus can't get rego. So i decided to just do a burnout to load her up alittle, unfortunately my cluth did not want to do a burn out and blew its release bearing to pieces. Thus the viva curse continues.

  16. String so clocks rubber seals, on both install and removal. Feed a 5mm or so string into the same place those metal plates are sitting. Then just push it out. For install, push the string into the same part of the seal while its out of the car. Sit seal in place and push it in nice and snug. Then just pull the string out. It will, with a bit of help, refit itself around the frame. Crack a beer or two and marvel at how amazingly simple the job was.

  20. well fault code 56 is -hydrostatic fac or i have to (You will need to use OXR2 and OXL2 if you don't have four O2 sensors, just loop them into OXL1 and OXR1 so the ECU thinks there are 4 sensors.) i .have done this and code is still there so must be fan
