Was working with an auto electrican today to sort out high drain on my battery and didnt know what any of these thing did. Any one got an idea before I start reading manuals?

(sorry for the quality, there from my phone)

This could be after market, but anyone know what this thing under the cigarette light could do?

Button on the end of a stick like that is usually gonna be window squirters?

Thing under your cigarette lighter could be a kill switch? or does/did the car have spotlights?

pull open thing could be for your boot/ fuelcap/ etc

Between this polytech shit and the thing with the vag, I'm turning into such an antisocial mofo.

Please excuse my dumb questions. This is the first car I have worked on.

Button on the end of the wiper stalk is part of the cruise control, the other thing below the cigarette lighter is definitely after market.

Pull lever is part of the heater, it's supposed to be for the "floor vents" but I've never seen one that worked. It should have some vacuum hoses going to it if you drop that panel down.

One underneath the lighter, I don't think is actually connected to anything? Seems pretty factory to me. Check behind the nib, can't quite remember.

What DJZ said rings true.

Hey thanks for the feedback.

The cruise control doesnt work apart from turning a light on my dash turn on, so that button of the light lever sounds correct.

The pull to open lever isn't for the boot, bonnet or fuel... sparky thought maybe for some vent?

Hey HungLau! Sorry i havent contacted you about the seats! My brain is likejm5 a sive and i keep forgetting! Are they still available? Cars running great (apart from the battery drain which i just sorted), still need to sort out the rust and get the 5 speed manual in it and then ill be happy. What do you mean by the nib?
