Stephen Wright has helped me a lot with doing mods to my lancer and fixing it up. Stephen knows everything there is to mitsi's new and old. he has steam cleanded my motor, sourced me parts eg: gaskets and seals also painted my tappet cover and fitted B.O.V replaced my air filter with a new "K&N" filter. Stephen has also fixed my gearbox and is willing to help other old schoolers if ya ever get stuch for the right price. his work is exceptional well recomended! so bought it pretty much completely standard in running condition 3months ago since then iv done a few upgrades but keeping in mind that i want to have it as orginal as possible (still has factory radio)

got a steam clean on motor so stoked!
was so happy with how engin bay was looking so went and painted rokercover blue and added blue vac lines and a sard bov!!!
trying to leave everything as orginal as possible so decided to mount the best headunit i could afford at the time in the glove box
put some JVC 6"s and tweaters in rear parcel tray along with painting tray black with vynal paint
put on ralliart knob
dash had crap paint and have owned four EX's and never taken a dash out so that was my goal to pull one out without any damage
got it out and found rust
treated rust with 'rust kill' and sprayed over with some white paint after cleaning it all up hopefully this buys me some time
painted dash and surroundings black with the same vynal paint used for rear parcel tray and came up 1million dollars :PPPPPPP
as you can see in the pics from when i first bought the lancer all of the door cards were falling off. now i have fixed this by glueing the clips back on with licquid nails, wish they were mint cards but looks alot better with the glue. ill start a discussion thread so you can all give me advice and what not please excuse my spelling lol was teriable in english at school lol

got board and decided i want more lowness so took springs out yesterday and are getting compressed at the mo at chamberlins. car should be sitting at excatly 100mm all going well

heres a pic with the compressed codbra's in the front with another lancer!
got some nail polish on the "TURBO" came up as good as i thought it would and looks better red than just the bear metal.
this weekend ill be mounting a oil cooler and braided hose's up then hook it all up next weekend along with oil and filter change.
if anyone has some rear lowering springs they want to get rid of im supper keen so its not just low at the front. iv got the money just dont want to pay $240 for new ones!

relocated oil filter.
test fitted it all up, and decided it was mounted too low
took the air box out to mount sandwich plate
fitted oil cooler all up now just got to put new oil filter in. had to cut grill. the whole process of fitting cooler was a bit of a mish but final results a goodie. got a pair of japanese number plates given to me pretty stoked with that.

got real into my japanese goods last week and bought a "dildo" gear knob and some stickers. this is what they look like
replaced the gear box oil with this stuff because it would go into gear really shit and crunch ect with old oil but i havent had a chance to drive it yet because im currenty in the middle of fitting my oil cooler lines to the factory oil cooler out puts as there is a themostat there. all was going well unto i tightned up a fitting to tight and snapped it oh well off to jap race first thing tomorro to buy a new fitting then ill be putting in some penrite 15-60 oil that i purchased today
anyways heres the shock proof oil
wof was due at the end of last week. thought id be cheaky and take it to vtnz and see how it goes
well i got it, only failed on the lights needed to be realined (did it infront of mr vtnz man and he gave me the big tick)
brand new vtnz wof!

bought some fender mirrors off ebay because i liked them plus my lancer came out of the factory with them. only took a week to get here so that was a bonus.
because the lancer used to have the mirrors i was hopeing that the holes in the guards for mounting would still be there but just bogged over to make mounting and positioning easier for me. i was in luck, this photo is of the holes bogged over inside the gaurd
the night i got the mirrors i mounted them up as soon as i could then drove to the mall to get a few photos
bought some tint just the stuff sold at repco. to put it on i took all the windows out so i could get a finish that i was happy with because when i see tint with bubbles and lines/creases all through it it makes me sick haha and i didnt want to be like that with my own car so i spent hours on it hahaha

got pulled over for the first time in this car on friday night, mr policeman told me my car had "illegal mounted oil cooler" and he had "seen my gearstick on Police ten7" but he loved what was going on so much that he let me drive off without even a warning haha not to menchion the fact that i was boosting 90kmh in a 50zone haha dpnt think he realised that but he was the most layed back police man ever haha gc

got rid of that gay oil cooler!
had to fix up grill because i had to cut a piece out to allow the oil cooler lines to run through. has now been painted and looking gud!
had to get camber plates to keep those big wheens in (14 x 8 and 14 x8.5)
wheels on boom STANCE!
also acquired a new couple new 4gs to the family one being this wee number
built to 500hp to much done to it to list was FWD but getting everything required for a RWD conversion. all is comming together pretty quickly and should be running by the end of the year and around 275hp ATW for me to learn to drive then 6months after will be pounding well over 300
