Yo Yo Kumeu is coming up and shes on the 21st/22nd of January 2012 so it will be here like THAT. Its always a magical fun time out, sleeping in cars and having a shandy under the moonlight. Saturday being the 21st

I will be there with my Wagoneer shorts on, probably leaving Friday morning. Hopefully we can get a decent tribe to attend to have fun, score some bargains and pay the hot dog man for that time 3 years ago that Spence and Sam never did.

Maybe just use this as the discussion thread, will update first post with all key info.

Bit more info on it here
http://www.kumeuhotrodshow.co.nz/

This is for day entrants, not campers
Saturday 7.00am - 6.00pm
Sunday 8.00am - 5pm
Entry $15.00 (Kids under 12 Free)

Hey Lee, if I get my car to Taupo with a garden trailer on the back - any chance of a ride to taupo for me and you tow my garden trailer with engines and wheels etc to distribute round the country? And then viceversa on the way back?

I don't think there is anything about wof and reg to parkup in the middle as people bring all sorts of contraptions and race cars and things along. would just be your own risk in driving it there if it doesnt have a wof/reg.

I'm aiming to be there in the Mini, not with the Mini Club this time though, useless poos always sit in the traffic instead of going the awesome and much quicker backroad way...

van will already be hauling the coffee cart so may have to run a tow rope like a road train...

is that more or less dodgy than just driving it (without a 'tow' rope)?

yay for motorvation to get cracking on finishing off the bodywork!

Ground is usually decent, just pick your lines and you'll be sweet (its only grass and dirt anyway).

And a road train sounds super dodgy :?
